Location isn't great, but very good value for money”
Located on the west side of Beijing, so the location isn't good if you are after shopping or easy access to the major historical sites. However for the money we paid, the services and facilities were excellent.

Ok Location Good Hotel”
Wukesong is actually not an ideal location for tourists. There isn't much to see in this part of Beijing but I was here for a concert at Wukesong Stadium so it was ideal since it was close (i.e. in walking distance) to the subway station and to the stadium. If you are taking the subway and walking, the street signs are actually perpendicular to the street that you are walking on (I only mention this as a tip since I got lost and walked much farther than I had to from the station to the hotel). Check in time is also at 2pm, which I had assumed to be 12pm for some reason. The receptionist was asking us to come back at 4pm even though we had arrived around 1pm but we were tired and desperate to shower so after talking to their manager, he agreed to clean up the room asap and check us in. So plan for a late check in. The room and bathroom were nice and clean, but the room did smell a little weird. I didn't eat or use any of their facilities but there are quite a few small restaurants close by. If you need a map of Beijing, the hotel can provide you with one and the receptionists can give you directions to some extent.

The best way to get to this hotel from the airport is by airport bus route no. 4 (16 yuans)to Gongzhufen and then take a taxi (15 yuans). The taxi costs 140 yuans. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the subway and this is the best way to get to the scenic spots. The subway fare is the cheapest in the world (2 yuans for a single trip of any distance). The subway leads to many buses which will take you to most scenic spots. The hotel has good facilities and services generally expected of Holiday Inn management.

Needed to stay here for a CBA game. Decent food....about a 1km walk from subway. Due to location in the west price was ok.

Nice and inexpensive place to stay”
Overall, the hotel is very nice. The room is bigger than many newer hotels of the similar quality. The rooms are clean. However, you still can smell smoke in the room even though the entire floor is non-smoking. There are many stores / supermarket in walking distance.

Excellent value for money hotel”
The room, staff and location suited my visit down to the ground. The only negative thing was the rather slow, restricted Internet connection. The In room Internet continually dropped out. I could not access Facebook at all. The drop puts meant any business activities were not possible at all.

The front office staff was very friendly and attentive.Clean room and very friendly service staff at the coffee and drink outlet. The spa facility was good, but the massage girls are not good enough. their skills are inferior when compared to those of other outlets.

Good Hotel”
The hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a mixture of chinese and western. I stay here because its near to my place of meeting. The nearest subway station is about 10 min walk. A shopping arcade is about 15 min walk to the left of the hotel. Outside the hotel you can find local food.

It was a very comfortable stay. the only set back was that there was a cut finder nail in our food, and this was a unfortunate incident. some kitchen staff must have been cutting nails in the kitchen, which is very bad. I have taken a video recording of the incident. the situation was handled satisfactorily by the supervisor or the manager of the restaurant.

Overall, the hotel is ok. There is a mall not far from the hotel with a big supermarket. Several buses stop nearby the hotel. Cleaniness is a ok. There are some stains in the bathroom sink countertop which is can't be clean A bit far from train station.
