Find hotels in Beijing Children's Hospital

Westin Beijing (Financial Street) has been on the top of my list for best hotels since I first stayed there in 2007. Fortunately, I stayed with them again in this Feb, and I was extremely satisfied with their sophiticated service, and well-designed room. In addition, my additional requests were responded efficiently, e.g. courier service, stay extension without changing room. Westin Beijing (Financial street) is highly recommended for any kinds of travellers!

we celebrated my husband's birthday here. while the club floor was nice and the service was great, the mini fridge did not have the best cooling power and our cake literally melted inside it. other than that, it was great. clean pool, and convenient access to a shopping mall connected directly to the hotel. the italian restaurant, 'cepe', on the 1st floor is expensive so take that into consideration when you try it! when you stay on the club lounge you get a chance to try the foods provided by all the restaurants in the hotel. we missed the free cepe food by a day but the food provided by their chinese restaurant was pretty nice.

It is close to subway stations and bus stops. The food tastes good and fresh. There are swimming pool, fitness center, sauna and steam room which are in best condition. And there is a Korean staff who has great service. Thanks to Cindy for greater service. Also Linda is a nice staff who is ardent to fulfill the service.

Our stay at the Tangla was very nice. The staff was professional during our entire stay. The room was very well appointed and extremely comfortable. We spent the majority of the day in bed because of the weather. The bathroom was stunning, much better than the one at the Shangri-La (which is 3 times as expensive). The bed wasn't the largest, but it was very comfortable. All in all, the room was decorated very nicely with everything seemingly new. The one thing that was a disappointment was that there was no DVD player. We wanted to go swimming, but the pool's water was being switched. While that was also a disappoint, it was good to know that they at least change their water. The fitness room had newer equipment. The spa was nice, but the prices are outrageous, as is the case with most nice hotels in Beijing. If you are looking for a massage, there was a nice one about 5 minutes away that was only 128RMB for a 2 hour foot and back oil massage. We also walked around looking at the restaurants... they all looked very nice, but at the time we didn't have the appetites to handle a large and expensive dinner. Instead, we ordered room service later on at around 10pm. The service time was fine. She had a linguine dish, while I ordered an omelette. Hers was very good, mine was just so-so. For the price, its what you would expect. It wasn't a complete rip-off, but you could definitely get a better meal outside for a lot cheaper. All in all, we had a very good experience at the hotel. While it would have been nice to go swimming, that was pretty much our only complaint. For the price, it is definitely one of the best values in Beijing. We stayed over at the Winterless Hotel before, and for the same price it does not compare to the Tangla. If we ever want to be in this neighborhood of Beijing again, we would definitely pick this place again.

Very comfortable small hotel in an old Hutong building. Inside was beautiful with the air conditioned courtyard fully enclosed by a glass roof. On hot days my wife liked to sit in the courtyard and relax. Roof top garden was a nice place to go in the evening but pretty hot in the daytime (although hanging your clothes there in the daytime guaranteed a quick drying in the hot sun of Beijing. Planning on staying there again in about a month.

Room is small but clean. This location is good (not too crowded and not too far from tourist places). You have a shopping mall, food and train station within walking distant. Staff communication in English is limited but acceptable. This hotel is next to a highway so it is a little noisy. However, I can still sleep at night. If you are a light sleeper and money is not an issue then I suggest you go for the 5 star hotel next to this. The price of the 5 star next door is double of this but the size of the room is also double and very quiet even if you get a room facing the highway.

The staff tried hard to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Starting with allowing us to checkin early after we flew in from europe, giving us a choice of rooms, guidance on the local area, and much more. The rooms were relatively small (big enough for double bed, flat-screen TV, and a chair). The rooms were actually cleaned to be clean rather than look clean as with many hotels. The courtyard is a great place to relax after a long day around beijing. I'll definitely stay there again next time I'm in beijing

You have one staff who deserve to be promoted. She was the only one who tried to understand English and is very helpful to meet our needs. She also refused tips when we offered for all the trouble she went through to please us. It was freezing cold yet she went to the main road to hail 2 cabs for us, We are fully indebted to her for her kindness and generousity. I dont have her name but she had a walki Talkie with her I assume she hold supervisory status. She is your diamond and our angel. Say thank you to her for me and my family.

we would have stayed here longer if we could, but there weren't any vacancies. this lovely gem is in to a busy hutong neighborhood, but isn't noisy. great street food and a chance to experience the hustle of hutong life just around the corner. the courtyard is a wonderful place for the breakfast you can order the night before and have ready for you at an appointed time you select. the rooms are comfortable and clean. i am ashamed to say i can't remember the name of the manager, but she was an excellent resource for helping us plan our time in beijing, loaned us umbrellas, gave suggestions -- lovely gal. we were sad to leave.

This hotel is pleasantly located within the 2nd ring road which encircles the heart of Beijing where most of the attractions are located, and the closest subway station is just 500m away. While the room is pretty small and it doesn't come with bells and whistles, it definitely has most of the essential facilities. It would be even nicer if there are more hooks/rails for hanging towels. Breakfast is free and good. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to stay in a well-run hotel (within a historical narrow alley) that is different from those typical 4-5 stars international chains.

The Location is very centre. Just besides Xidan area, surounding by many big malls so finding food would never be a problem. Nearest subway station (xidan station) is 10 mnt walks but you won't find it far cause is a crowded street. Exit F from station. Breakfast is lots of variaties both chinese & western but honestly it didn't really suit our indonesian taste. OK the highlight is Best Hospitality from all the staffs especially Ms. Jahida. All of them make sure you have a lovely stay and explore beijing nicely. Ms. Jahida even upgrade one of our room to suite cause i inform her that 3 of our family member will having their birthday during our stay. They decorate the suite and prepared 3 cakes for each.
