"It's my second time to JAL resort Okuma, I love the beach nearby, spacious and nice room, great location to the north (As I travelled to Cape Hedo, the most north point of Okinawa). There was some misunderstanding when we checked it. I have booked two rooms for four people via Agoda, but the hotel could only see two rooms for two people from their own confirmation email. Luckily the hotel staffs are nice enough to help us with the arrangement. I suggested Agoda to look into this problem and avoid confusion, as it may jeopardise the trust between customers and the hotel. "

"an old hotel gutted and renovated in a modern way, offered capsules ($40) and private rooms ($200). the capsule bed itself was very clean, though the floors and corners in the bathroom/sink areas and the kitchen (especially) could be cleaner. i would have also liked to do some of my work on the ground floor but there is an off smell down there, probably due to old okinawan plumbing, that kept me in my room instead. it could be a fun place when fully booked, but it was pretty low occupancy when i was there, which combined with a really windy night kind of made for a somewhat creepy experience!
