This is definitely one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. Spent a few weeks going through the reviews of Shanghai hotels in Agoda before settling for a suite in SSAW Hotel Shanghai, and it was well worth the effort. Hotel suite was big, cosy, comfortable with great views, especially from the inviting bathtub. In short, this is a hotel with exceptional value for ...

Very pleasant for my 2 nights stay. The service staff especially the Concierge staff is very helpful and polite. For example we are not sure of the Exhibition place, he went all the extra service of checking online each venue it was. For breakfast it was not actually 5 star as compare to other 5 star like Orential Riverside Hotel where most of their food is made on th...

I have stayed at this place many times when I visited Shanghai. nevertheless it is one of my favourite place. Location wise it is in the heart of Shanghai. Though it can be difficult to find but with GPS it is not an issue. The room is huge compared to other hotel room. The bed is very comfortable. The internet is fast. One of my favourite hotel in Shanghai.

I have stayed in other hotels in Shanghai previously but this hotel I would say is the best so far in terms of location, cleanliness, helpful staff, good food served at the restaurant and also strong WiFi signal in room. This hotel so near to the Bund just 8-10 minutes walk and many shopping outlets also within walking distance with the famous Nanjing Street just a sto...

All i want to say is the hotel is one of the best in Shanghai. All the service and room are six-star. It's more than u expected. Breakfast is something you should try, it's difference. If you worried about mandarin(Chinese language) all the staff that i met can speak great english. Bed is really comfortable. If you use hotel's soap, you are going to feel a big diff...

We spend 2 night. Worth it for the money we paid. Closed to mrt, nanjing pedestarian rd, madame tussauds Spend a whole day using city sightseeing bus only for 30 RMB and ticket valid for 24 hours and multiple ride. Convenient, flexible and fun. This the way how to see Shanghai. Shanghai urban planning exhibition hall, art museum, nanjing rd, century square, garden...

I like to stay at this hotel which has unique and classic design and good location. However price is quite high this time. Hotel should provide international tv channels not only local tv channels. Keep give best service to the guests. Will come back again if visiting Shanghai.

If travelling by Metro is your mode of transportation, shopping and a visit to The Bund is your plan, then this is the hotel to stay. Metro station is just 50m outside the main entrance across the road on the left. There has multiple Metro lines and an underground tunnel leading to the shopping street of Nanjing East Road. At the end of this street is the famous Shan...

this hotel is conveniently placed to allow for easy walking to the nanjing road sopping area & peoples square where you can find the shanghai urban exhibition planning hall & the shanghai museum. also located near a metro/subway line which is extremely user friendly and the most cost effective way to travel around shanghai. 2y to 3y for journeys of short distance that ...

The hotel building looks old from the outside but the rooms seems to have been renovated not that long ago and seems new. For the price, I think you will be mostly satisfied with this hotel even though of course there will be better hotels in Shanghai at a higher price. The staff are polite and efficient even though communications in English may be difficult for them b...

From the minute you arrive, the Langham feels like an oasis from the hustle and bustle of Shanghai. You enter your room and a video plays showing pictures of Old Shanghai with a lovely Chinese jazz singer in the background - immediately you are transported to 1930's Shanghai. This video is even better when viewed, soaking the enormous bath tub. Great location near t...

If you're looking for a grand, luxurious hotel, this is not it. This is budget hotel with the most basic things you need, bed, closet, bathroom, water, tissue and (local) tv channels. We booked a double room but was so happy that we were upgraded to the suite - for free! :) We stayed in room 205 which was quite nice! :) We didn't have any issues with the elevated "roo...

we stayed there for 4 nights and so regret we changed to stay in another river side hotel with higher price but such a disappointment. this hotel building is in traditional red bricks with their chinese colonial style. the great thing is you are close to the metro, the shanghai theatre (just across the street), walkable to the people square, shanghai urban planning mus...

Our trip to Shanghai started badly. We arrived at 01:45am at Pudong Airport and there's no Airport Pickup service, so somehow we made it to the City and tried to find a Taxi driver who would take us to the hotel, which was difficult because some of 'em didn't even know the address (we showed them the Agoda generated Taxi directions in Chinese language). In the end we a...

Jinjiang hotels are GREAT hotels if you are looking for a clean, simple and a modern room. They are smaller rooms but are perfect if you will be exploring Shanghai and just need a place to sleep. I love every detail of this hotel, even the smallest one. Was stay here more than 4 weeks. Stay on the 6 person female room and my parents at the King Bed room ont he 2nd floor. the jw mariott shanghai hotel is supposed to be one of the best if not the best hotel in shanghai. it is true it is really luxurious and beautiful.. no free internet in the rooms (it is nowadays quite amazing not to have free wireless internet in hotel rooms of this standing, especially in asia). top floor bar is a private mariott club so we were unable to have a drink...

First thing, The location is the best thing of this hotel. Only a flat 10/12 minutes walk to the Bund and Nan Jing Street. Nearest metro Dashijie is straight 5 minutes walk from the hotel. I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. My room was compact, comfortable, clean and well maintained. The bed was super comfy. Room was cleaned everyday. Coffee, Tea, Cookies an Mineral...

With a 16-hour layover between flights, and an arrival time of 5am, we needed somewhere to crash for a bit – and leave our hand-luggage while we explored the city – before heading back to the airport. In this regard, the Wassim couldn't be better. Ideally located just two blocks from the Nanjing Road East subway station (and from there, just a six-station straight shot...

Shanghai has long been on my travel bucket list. The subway system is good, but you don't really want to take it much with so much going on above ground! The Line 2 subway is a good one to know, however, as it goes near the Bund, and also to the airport and train stations. Excellent. STAY AWAY FROM THE SCAM TAXIS AT THE SHANGHAI TRAIN STATION! They will want 200 yuan f...

I stayed for a week in 24k hotel along with my family. I recommend the people who want to enjoy prime location of shanghai at very economical rates. It's environment is clean. Nanjing pedis train street ,Madame taussade meuseum, the bund, city tour buss station, subway stop, etc are at walking distance. I enjoyed its location . Hotel staff is very cooperative.

Location is perfect, restaurants abound, shopping everywhere, in the middle of the new and old worlds, transportation easy, on the main street, can walk everywhere and anywhere. Old hotel remolded rooms, clean, comfortable and staff is very nice. Don't let the lobby turn you off, once inside the hotel halls are remodeled and rooms are efficient.

Was a bit skeptical at first due to the high price point, but it really delivered. The front desk is flexible and allowed us a late 4pm checkout. The location is right opposite Daimaru, just 10min walk away from the Bund. We got the city view, but it was still great nonetheless. The room was larger than expected and really comfortable and luxurious. I would recommend i...

This is a very modern, clean and stylishly furnished hotel in a lovely area in Shanghai. The metro station is nearby and there are many restaurants and eateries around. We had a window to a small courtyard with no view. If you don't mind this, it is a very nice hotel with good value for money.
