"I was only staying in Shanghai for a quick one day trip for an athletic event. I really needed food in the morning so I booked the buffet because they said they had eggs, sausages and bacon which was all I needed to start my training day; however, the bacon and sausages weren't American flavoured and tasted awkward. There wasn't oatmeal but only rice congee. There were overfried, rubbery eggs. Long story short, I barely ate and it was a waste of the 69 dollars (they told me it was discounted to 49 though but still I would have been more nourished from the Airport Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts in terminal 1). I would stay there again but I would not buy the morning buffet. which cost about 1/6 of the total hotel fee."

"The hotel is nearby Shanghai Zoo...not much out this area except for the Zoo. I booked because of it relative distant to Hongqiao Train station (two stops from it) and it was also nearby a club called The Mansion which was having an event I wanted attend. Front desk staff knows minimal English sp be prepared for that, if you dont have a translator or Chinese language skills. The room i had was decent and location of the hotel was easy to find."
