"At first glance, the alleyway in which this hotel is located seems a bit "off the beaten track". However, do not let that fool you - the hotel is in the heart of The Bund and next to all that you will be wanting to see. The alley leads onto one of the main streets that is close to many shops and places to eat. Rooms have everything that you need, the bed was very comfortable and a safety deposit box is also provided. All of the staff speak English well and are very friendly. Breakfasts are okay but the hotel also has a bar, with drinks priced very reasonably. I do not think I could have booked a hotel for the price I paid that had an excellent location and rooms of this standard and would definitely book again. One of my "gripes" about more costly hotels is the deposit that you have to pay up, which can be anywhere between 1000 RMB to 2000 RMB and, let's face it, we do not usually spend much time in the hotel! The deposit here is a reasonable 200 RMB, which seems much fairer. All-in-all this is a great base from which to see many attractions of The Bund. I will be back! "

"Well located hotel in the Bund. It's clean, staff very accommodating, surprising lack of knowledge of the area and its sights. The rooms are clean but the hotel is dated and in need of brightening up. No free wifi the charge is £8 for 100 minutes. Food in the hotel is expensive Chinese meal for one was about £35. European food was well below average a plate of French fries we £3.50 and a sandwich almost£5.00. Just for a short stay this hotel is ok. "

"The location was nice, I can take a walk in the morning along Huangpu River in the Bund for jogging and also I have ever walked to Nanjing Road for sightseeing. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful, whenever we order the taxi in the early morning to Pudong Airport. The only minus point was, the parking area was not available in the hotel, it occupied Tiantong Road, which was always busy. "
