"We loved this hotel. The hotel itself was very charming, lovely, and situated in a very good location. I would recommend anyone travelling to Intalaken to stay at this hotel as it situated in the center between Interlaken Ost and West stations. Thus, it is so easy to commute in either way. The pizza restaurant downstairs also a highlighted as it served a very delicious pizza. One of the staff also speaks a little Thai and he was so friendly and understanding as we traveled in a big group of 10 so it was quite a chaos to the restaurant. The rooms were clean and have nice view of the mountains."

"We absolutely LOVE Interlaken! Staying at Hotel Metropole was the perfect location, right on the strip. We stayed on the 13th floor which for the best view on the city and made nights very quiet! We appreciated the staff being very helpful in giving us recommendations for what to see, where to eat, etc. Hotel Parking was no hassle to find very cheap, (8CHF/night). Overall, if we were lucky enough to get to come back to a Interlaken, we would definitely book with Hotel Metropole again!"

"This was my second time to stay in Interlaken. The staff was very nice and offered us a free upgrade to the garden view side. The location is great, which was in the middle between the east and west station so that we are 10min away from both stations. The apartment was super spacious and the facility was great. We love that kitchen! We can cook our own dinner! I would recommend this hotel to my friends and I wish I had chosen this hotel when I came to Interlaken last year."

"My hubby and I stayed in Carlton Europe for one night. The hotel is in a convenient location which is just a 3-minute walk from Interlaken West Station. Interlaken West is a quiet area which is good for couples enjoying themselves. The hotel room is nicely decorated and is neat and clean. The view from the room is also good in which we could see the lake and a lot of greeneries. The staff is warm and helpful. We highly recommend this lovely hotel to all couples visiting Switzerland."

"Disco, bar, plenty of common area spaces. Though not in the center it has Irish and local pub plus thai food and kebab&pizza just next door and a bus stop in front heading interlaken ost and west stations. Kitchen is closed at 22 but the fridge is outside in dining area so u can eat or grab your cold beer at anytime. And a great plus u can drink yr own alcool though they have a bar and sell beers in the reception. I felt like a real backpacker schould, free to choose, like at home"

"We had a family apartment. Two spacious rooms with each two comfortable beds. Both rooms with cable TV and balcony. Modern ambience. We red about missing shower gel and shampoo before booking, so we brought our own. - Not a big deal. The breakfast was lovely. Fresh juice, fruit salad and different kind of bread. We did not use spa/sauna, so we can't rate these facilities. "

"Stayed 3 nights during June summer in this hotel. It is about 10-15 mins walk from Interlaken OST station. There is a bus which you can take for just one stop but the frequency is 30 mins interval. Room is a little small but has free minibar for the first day which is recommendable. The hotel has no air con so the room gets a little stuffy and hot every time we return from outside. They provide a fan but sometimes not sufficient during summer weather! If you cannot sleep without air con then this is not the hotel for you. Tv is special - it is hidden in a compartment in front of the bed.. there is also a radio/alarm clock which is Apple compatible so you can play your music via your iphone.. Breakfast is ok with the standard variety of eggs, sausages, cheese, cold cuts, bread, fruits and cereals."
