Nice htl location n staff very helpfull
Firstly, the hotel is located near to major attractions and near to food establishments. However, the condition of the rooms can be improved. There are holes and drawings on the walls and the TV channels are limited. The exhaust fan in the toilets are noisy and do not seemed to be working well. The toilet in the room is clean but however, the condition of the taps from the showers and wash basins can be improved.
Very serious issue there is no street access, we had to walk down an alley full of rubble from construction! This after we circled the block looking for a way in. The air conditioner was out of service. It was 40 degrees in our room hot! They requested full payment even though we had booked and paid in full on Agoda. We have photos of the surroundings, they are terrible. We cancelled the second nights stay because we only slept for 3 hours and had to leave the room door open to get cool. We understand this is a travellers hotel, but we will post the photos and stories on other websites because this is bad for people. It was good of Agoda to refund the second night, but there should have been no charge at all. Our car service driver had to park far away to get us the next morning. This hotel should be out of service and business, the least they should advise customers of how horrible the street is to get to them.
the hotel is just a three minute walk to the ticketing office of Mutianyu Great Wall. You can see some parts of the wall from our balcony! Not so many people are housed in the hotel. It's not the best we've seen but it is the best value for our money!

“Pictures look way better, room is quite run down”
Our initial room's toilet door could not close and the sink was clogged. Fortunately staff was great and allowed us to change rooms without hesitation. The second room was better although the walls showed wear and tear and the curtains were dirty. Functional though.
