Jinrong International Hotel”

have a big room, nice environment, hospitality of the employee is good too, but i think need more employee who can speak english, because this hotel title is Jinrong INTERNATIONAL Hotel, so i think it need to be an international one. about breakfast i think it good enough too. room's furniture i think it's a little bit old, need to renew it. Location very near with the Shanghai Metro Line 1. Hope Jinrong Hotel more success in the future. Thank you

Quiet 4 start Hotel in Shanghai”

The hotel itself is good and is affordable. I however have 2 complaints: 1. We booked a 'Double' room. However when we arrived the staff said the bed was too small for 2 people, as it was just a twin bed. My daughter-in-law, whom is Chinese, was able to argue with the staff about this until they gave us the room with the bigger beds. Not all of the Double rooms have double beds, be warned. 2. Location. Yes, it is quiet; however, it is north of Shanghai Circus World. Although this is only 5 mins from the subway, it isn't really as close to downtown as the Shanghai Railway station is.

Convenientley located, over the road from station for Rail Line 10. Very pleasant hotel with all the ammentities and faclities one needs. Excellent value for money comparative to other hotels in the region. Be aware of scams taxi drivers will throw up in China. They will deliberately get lost to increase the fare. A tolerable stopover but not well situated for tou”

We stayed here just before we left for home, to give us the chance to visit Expo 2010; it was also convenient for our friends in Shanghai. We noticed that the hotel's idea of a non-smoking room was to remove the ashtrays and matches after we moved in - fortunately the room did *not* smell of smoke! Despite the room being a "superior kingsize", there was a bedside table on only one side of the bed. Dinner in the restaurant was reasonable, though a little expensive. The lounge bar area on the first floor was pleasant to sit in, and we did so on both evenings with our local friends. However the bar staff should not make assumptions about what drinks are acceptable as substitutes; my wife asked for an amaretto, and the waitress brought her a Bailey's because the amaretto was not available, without asking if this would be acceptable. The bar staff also hovered over us while we waited for our friends to arrive. Checkout went reasonably well, and a taxi to take us to the airport arrived quickly (in contrast to another hotel where we stayed!

Central location value for money hotel”

Comfortable rooms at a reasonable price.Very well located in Central area. However, be aware of taxi drivers from airport. They will get lost and drive you around the city. This is a scam as the hotel is on a main road in a very prominent position and well marked on maps. Suggest you use pick up service offered by hotel

Clean, Good price, Speak English, Close to Metro”

Not tourism location, but clean and good price, Services is fine, breakfast is not included but the hotel provides free of charge for some days, as we stayed many days. Internet is available, staff speaks English, TV doesn't carry international channels like CNBC, CNN nor BBC. There is only Channel news Asia.

A reasonable hotel for a business stay, but not we”

The main reason for selecting this hotel was that it was close to the home of the friends we came to see, and the price was reasonable. We were suffering from jet-lag for most of our stay, so we only took breakfast once; on that occasion we found the selection for western tastes was rather limited. On another morning, we went down to the coffee shop just after 10 a.m., expecting to be able to get some breakfast, but found it shut (advertised opening hours were "6.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m."). There was a smallish shopping mall with a good choice of restaurants within walking distance (about 15 minutes) but the immediate surroundings seemed very run down. Free internet access was a welcome extra, as was a pleasant lounge area on a mezzanine floor above the lobby. This was an "Expo recommended" hotel, but staff (even on the Expo stand) had a very limited command of English.

Reasonably good”

The hotel is reasonably good, but is strictly no-frills affair (at least for Western travelers). One mildly annoying thing about this supposedly "International" hotel is that few of the staff speak/understand English. Another, annoying fact (in conjuction with the previous annoying fact, this one becomes an extremely annoying one!) is that if you incur additional expenses (breakfast, laundry etc.), then they block access to your room and make yuo trudge all the way down to pay a "deposit" and get a new card. This happened to me 3 times in 3 days and no amount of asking them to pre-bill helped matters. If you want to get a massage, then for some reason instead of giving one to you in the spa, they send the masseuse to your room.

My trip to shanghai”

I really liked this hotel, it had good service and it was clean. Although it was near the metro, the location was quite far from the downtown. Also, be warned that not every "double" room contains a double bed, some have a twin bed. Luckily my son's wife was able to get us the double beds.

Above average”

The room is relatively cold but the housekeep gave me an extra cardkey to keep the room warm. The hotel is close to metro station and only costs 4rmb to reach main touristic sights.

Clean & good price”

Clean and well equiped, room is big, breakfast is fine, massage is interesting, business center is good, the hotel is closed to bus stop and underground. The nearest tourism site is Shanghai Circus. Otherwise there is a shopping plaza which is about 2 bus stops away.

refuse to provide receipt”

I thought the hotel is a quality one as it is under a brand hotel JINJIANG international. when i checked out, it refused to provide receipt.It was annoying and i was very disappointed.

立地は個人的にはとてもよかったです。 地下鉄の駅からも遠くなく、目的地への近さからここを選びました。 繁華街ではなさそうなので、全体的に落ち着いた雰囲気の街並みでした。 周りにあまりメジャーな飲食店はなく、近くのコンビニも品揃えは微妙です。(日本と比べてしまうと) ホテル内部はとても清潔にされていて、値段相応だなという感じです。 備え付けのドライヤーが、MAXで使うと1分ほどで止まってしまい、冷めるまでつかないためMINで根気よく乾かすか持っていくのがいいかもしれません。 フロントで両替もしてもらえますし、英語が話せる方もいます。 総合的にはとてもいいホテルだと思いました。

部屋はきれいで、駅からも近くとても便利だった。 ただ、近くになにもないので、軽くどこかにという風にはいかなかった。

上海万博中に関わらず、大変立派なホテルがこの価格で利用できたことは大変感激しました。上海は地下鉄が整備されているので、駅の近くであれば中心から多少離れたホテルが狙い目です。食事も歩いて５分くらいで、とても美味しいレストランが沢山あります。超お勧めです。
