I stayed with my daughter for seven nights. The room was small, but it was sufficient since we only returned to sleep. We managed to open two suitcases on the floor, although we ended up at the entrance, there was enough storage space, so we could put away everything except for our valuables, and we didn’t need to open the suitcases every time. They replenished 500ml bottles of water in the fridge every day, and we could freely refill any additional amount from the fridge on the first floor. Towels and amenities were restocked daily, but there was only one bath towel for two people. I had seen posts about the towels in advance, so I brought my own and didn’t ask for extra. It seems that the sheets weren’t changed during our stay since we didn’t request it. Also, perhaps because I hadn’t left any noticeable trash, it felt like the floor wasn’t cleaned (hair was left on the floor). It may not be suitable for those who are particular. But it seems like they would do it if asked. There were some minor stains on the walls that could likely be cleaned if someone cared enough, but I thought it meant I shouldn’t worry about it either. There was a washing machine in the room, and I heard that we could get detergent for free from the front desk if we asked. I brought my own detergent from Japan, so I used that. By the way, if you wash only with detergent in Korea, your towels will feel stiff. Using fabric softener doesn’t make much of a difference. They had surprisingly provided loungewear. There were no slippers, so I recommend bringing your own if you’re concerned. The shower and toilet were together, and the space was spacious, which was helpful. The sink was very small, and my feet got soaked when I washed my face. It was slightly far from the station, so we took a bus, but it’s walkable too. However, the roads in Korea are uneven, making it quite challenging to drag a suitcase. Transportation costs in Korea are cheap, and if the transfer from the train is within 30 minutes, there’s no additional fee, so it’s better to take the bus. There’s also an airport bus that departs from just a minute's walk away, which is convenient. Both check-in and check-out were automated (with Japanese support), and you could come and go 24 hours, so if I stay long-term again, I might consider using it. The staff member was very friendly and had a cheerful demeanor, which was nice.
I traveled alone. Due to a sudden change in the reservation date at the hotel near Yeouido that I originally booked, I canceled that and chose this place instead because of the good reviews. I was able to reach a nearby bus stop smoothly by taking the airport bus (6004) directly (about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop). I arrived at 11:30 PM, but when I pressed the bell, the receptionist came to check me in. There is also a Japanese language support check-in machine, so it seems easy to use as well. The room is narrower than in the pictures, but there was space to open a larger suitcase. It had a white-sheeted double bed (on the firmer side), a closet, a gown, a mini-kitchen, a large refrigerator (with a proper freezer), a kettle, a rice cooker, a microwave, a washing machine, a drying rack, and a hairdryer, which seemed suitable for a long stay. *Detergent was not provided. Also, there were amenities (one set for both men and women) and water available. The shower pressure was fine, and hot water came out well. (Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and soap were also provided.) There were towels for the duration of my stay (1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per day). Although I stayed for two nights, they collected the trash, cleaned the floor, and replenished water and amenities each night. Near the hotel, there are Hyundai outlets and other outlets where I could enjoy shopping. The station is a bit far, but there’s a bus stop nearby, so it was very convenient for me since I primarily travel by bus. I would like to use it again.

We really enjoyed our stay at JS Hotel! It's small but incredibly clean, and had everything we needed. The bathroom was bigger than we expected, and despite being a shower/toilet combo, it doesn't get all wet when you shower. It is located near several bus stops which made it easy to get around, but we also enjoyed exploring the Guro neighborhood which is less touristy and crowded, lots of hidden gems. Just a bit difficult to locate on Naver app if you don't read Korean. Staff was kind and helpful too. Pack light if you are staying here to save space in your room. Thank you JS Hotel!
