We stay here because it’s cheap and near proximity of our favorite breakfast place and the big park . This is my 3rd time staying here, they had redecorated the hotel since I last came . It is cleaner but still not bright enough in the lobby and hallway and rooms .

Average Hotel”
Good location, centre hotel. But this hotel is old . Many facilities need to improve and change. Service is average. I have to wait more than 10 mins when I sat in front of the Indian staff. He was on the line with other people and without any acknowledge to other guest. Room is spacious but old. Mouldy smell badly. I can use the same price to find other hotel.

The hotel is near the forbidden city, the hutong's area and beihai park. A little bit far from the subway but there are buses running to drum tower and Lama temple.

The guy at the front desk decided to hang up all the time instead of helping because he doesn't speak English, the hotel is really old and doesn't seem like they put much effort into making it nicer, the room smelled like cigarettes

The first day night we reached around 12.00 and AC was not working.Staff was not ready to give another room and after contacting Agoda they agreed to allocate another one.

Bad unkempt environment budgeted hotel. Image of front hotel looked unconducive”
Hotel looked more like a haunted mansion/crime scene than a hotel itself. Grim outlook of the hotel during nightfall, daytime no better. Unkept surroundinging area. Rooms with dim lighting, switch covers fell off, bath room not hygiene with permanent wall stains & rusty edge mirror. Overall environment is old, no upgrading. Breakfast at 5th floor was shabbily prepared, food were not professionally displayed, only had twice during my 3-day stay. Some staff can be quite impatient when further queried. Staying in this King Parkview Hotel was quite a traumatising experience even I enjoyed my Beijing trip. Can’t complain at the small price I paid. The lesson learnt: PAY MORE FOR HOTEL ACCOMMODATION IN MY NEXT TRIP TO CHINA!

Worst hotel ever - stay away!”
Very unfriendly, rude staff. We were shouted at on arrival when we did not want to pay the key deposit of 300 RMB as it was not mentioned anywhere in the Agoda booking. The receptionist said we would not get the already paid room if we did not pay the deposit. After contacting Agoda they advised to ask for a receipt for the payment. We watched other people checking out who said that the second key card was in the room and many others who in the end did not get the deposit back when leaving. Ours was refunded but only because we had the receipt. They were also unable to call a taxi to the airport, so we were forced to walk with our cases all the way to the mainroad. Another bad aspect is that the closest metro station is at least 25 minutes walk away. The room needs renovating and was very dirty. The WIFI is basically unusable, sometimes you get a signal in the lobby. Overall very bad value for money.

Great Hotel with Great Staff!!”
We will definitely go back to this hotel when we visit Beijing. The hotel is in the heart of Beijing. Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Beihai Park, Jingshang Park, Wangfujing Street and some other night spots are near to the hotel. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Value for money, comfortable stay”
King Parkview Hotel is located near the exit of the Forbidden City. Very nice location, I would say. Near the restaurants and other establishments except for the train station which is less than a mile away. The room is clean and in good condition. It has the things/appliances I need for a comfortable stay. Food is OK. Value for money. Watch outs: - The hotel entrance is not that easy to find. - There is no Wi-Fi signal in the guest room so you have to go to the 2nd floor and the lobby where it's available.

This hotel is a few hundred feet from Jingshan Park and the north entrance to the Forbidden City, on a side street with barely enough room for one car to travel. The rooftop is open to go onto it, and the view of these sites is incredible! The breakfast was very good and filling, and it is definitely a hidden gem in Beijing. We definitely want to go back to this hotel when we visit Beijing!

Great hotel near many things worth seeing. Forbidden city, Jingshan park, Beihai park, Tiananmen square etc. The best hotel you can get with reasonable price in Beijing. Room was nice, with clean bathroom. Nothing bad to say about this. And we were travelling with two little kids, so I think that we are pretty demanding to what comes to our accommodation.

Reasonable hotel with great location”
I stayed in the Beijing King Parkview Hotel for a few nights and overall was fairly impressed. The room itself was comfortable with a soft bed (for Chinese standards). The location is good, near the Summer Palace and close to bus stops. Also, the dining options available in the hotel were pretty good. One negative thing I experienced was that the hotel was very noisy, especially in the morning. Cleaning and other activities were too loud and obviously disruptive. Overall, reasonably priced hotel.
