"It's my second time to JAL resort Okuma, I love the beach nearby, spacious and nice room, great location to the north (As I travelled to Cape Hedo, the most north point of Okinawa). There was some misunderstanding when we checked it. I have booked two rooms for four people via Agoda, but the hotel could only see two rooms for two people from their own confirmation email. Luckily the hotel staffs are nice enough to help us with the arrangement. I suggested Agoda to look into this problem and avoid confusion, as it may jeopardise the trust between customers and the hotel. "

"an old hotel gutted and renovated in a modern way, offered capsules ($40) and private rooms ($200). the capsule bed itself was very clean, though the floors and corners in the bathroom/sink areas and the kitchen (especially) could be cleaner. i would have also liked to do some of my work on the ground floor but there is an off smell down there, probably due to old okinawan plumbing, that kept me in my room instead. it could be a fun place when fully booked, but it was pretty low occupancy when i was there, which combined with a really windy night kind of made for a somewhat creepy experience! "It was quite a funny and unique experience we had at Pension Yonahadake. First of all, it was quite hard to find. After asking the tourist center and driving up the hidden mountain road behind a local school, we arrived at the place. It looks like a camp ground with nice wooden cabins. We looked all around, but nobody there. The cabins were not locked and the inside looks nice and cozy. But where is the people here??? After going back to the tourist office and made a phone call to the owner, he was away temporally on temple service. -- so not a scary abandoned place after all. The rest of our stay was very nice. We had a beautiful cabin all to ourselves, is so nice and warm (the weather that day is rainy and cold) with all the comfort of a home. We love the cabin so much, we would want to buy one ourselves. The camp is surrounded by valley, and very close to a forest park. The only downside is that there's no internet, so we can't stay longer. But we had a very interesting and fun time there. "
