Stayed in this hotel as I needed to get out of my apartment for a few days and found the experience was very good. The front desk, and room service were alll excellent and the location was very close to Salitun. The staff spoke good English and were friendly There is a fitness center at the hotel with a sauna and both were of a high standard. Nearby were places to eat that were cheap and delicious. The only downside of the hotel was the room was a bit on the hot side and I found it difficult to cool the room.

Fantastic hotel”
Wonderful hotel with very professional staff. Great location, but if you struggling to walk - its about 10 min walk to subway station. It's very close to 'Place 'mall, which has the biggest led display. Its also close to CCTV, both walking distance. Walmart is 5 min walk to the right of hotel. Gym and pool are great, (bring a swimming cap with); Shame that jacuzzi is only a hot tub (a warm tub, not a jacuzzi). Breakfast was great. 2 bottles of water provided each day. WIFI is available but it doesn't let you to connect properly to western sites, including Google. WIFI often says: connected, not internet, meaning you can use only WeChat or Chinese apps/ websites. My family had to connect to my hotspot, to my sim card purchased in advance on eBay with unlimited data. Would definitely stay here again.

Situated at convenient location, got mall and supermarket nearby hotel. Bus stop right in front of hotel and train station within 10mins walk. Staff and service was excellent. Air humidifier provided in room definitely helps a lot in beijing dry winter weather. Room is clean though room interior shows signs of ageing. Overall very pleasant stay.

The hotel was way better than I expected! I was worried because some reviews said it’s outdated but they are maintaining it really well! It’s very nice and clean with great location! Walking distance to subway station and several shopping malls. So much food options around, from local street food to high end fancy restaurants. Staffs are very friendly, my husband does not speak Chinese and they will alway greet him in English when we come in and out. I normally don’t leave comments for hotels and this is my first time doing it because we really had a great time at the Kuntai Royal hotel. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Maybe not the cheapest option, but the location is convenient for the metro, city centre, easy journey to the airport. Clean, comfortable rooms, quiet. I thought the food in the chinese restaurant was very good but also expensive compared to restaurants outside the hotel. Good value give the attentive staff and the convenience.

Huge room. Not new hotel but very well maintenance facility. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location: central & easy to access to main attractions in Beijing. Located on a very big street so safe for woman to walk at night. Convenience 24/7 store & shopping mall nearby.

Pleasant Stay ”
We booked 2 rooms for 6 nights at Kuntai. When we first arrived, we felt that the hotel is not very bright with lots of wooden furniture. After shower I can smell a bit of smoke smell in the toilet. We thought the the hotel is old and were a bit disappointed. But to our surprise, the bed was comfortable, the toilet bowl & shower area was clean and water pressure was good. All the sheets and towels were very white and fresh. We slept well except for my husband because he finds the blanket too thick and irregular aircon temperature. The rest of us find it ok. The best part is the breakfast, a wide variety, we have a wonderful meal every morning. As for the coffee, it’s hard to get thick and creamy coffee in China. Thus, please lower your expectations. Walmart, UTown mall, 7 Eleven and Holland bakery nearby. Pretty convenient to purchase supplies and nice food in UTown mall. Overall the stay was great.

Does the job”
I stayed here as its a 10 minute walk to the office I needed to visit each day. The room was a good size which is pretty typical in China. The bed and pillows were comfortable. My main issue was the shower. It doesn't have a curtain or full length glass to stop the water from going everywhere so I had to put it on low pressure, turn it towards the wall and i still had to use towels each time to mop up the water on the floor. This was my biggest issue. Also the sink is designed in such a way that after using the tap the water on the basin falls to the side and gets your stuff sitting next to the basin wet. So a few design faults. Other than this the hotel was fine. Also the gym and pool was the best I've seen in a hotel. It looks like it might be outsourced. I'd stay here again, I just hope they can sort out the shower issue.

Good Hotel With Exceptional Staffs”
This is a Five Star Hotel with friendly staffs. It's a fairly new property and on the left hand side of the property there is a 7-Eleven, McDonalds, Kungfu Restaurant, Japanese Restaurant, and Korean Restaurant & Luckin Coffee. Not faraway is Utown Shopping that caters to your other needs (Starbuck, Various Restaurant, Watson Pharmacy, etc) The subway is a bit of walking distance away and always remember to exit Chaoyang Station (thru North East Exit). It is kinda hard to grab a cab even though it is winter due to fear of the virus I guess. So, walking back to hotel is BEST option. Just don't get the wrong exit and is easy to get lost in a foreign city. During our stay, Coach Ren (at the swimming pool offers quite a few tips) on how to swim for my kids as well places we can still visit during the city-wide lock-down. So, for me he is quite a 10-Points Staff! Concierge can help you with hailing of cab to the airports (Beijing International or Daxing). Kudo to Khuntai!

Nice hotel, but overcharged us ”
Lovely hotel, although English is limited. We said we’d like breakfast one day for my husband and I. But then we never made it because it ended too early and we had to go on our tours. The hotel ended up charging us for 4 breakfasts! It was $70 USD, and they refused to remove the charge. They said they made us extra food, but we never even told them which of our 4 mornings we were going to eat.

Good location and big room”
Good location near U Town shopping mall and 300m away from Chaoyangmen subway station (Blue Line 2). Two 7-11 convenient mart within the hotel mall and a bakery across the road. Sauna and indoor swimming pool facilities from 6 am to 11 pm. Room was big and clean however air-con is not cold otherwise it was a pleasant stay.,
