Very nice place located at a beautiful besuch with clear blue water, easy to access. Staff is very helpful, friendly and trying their best. Diving center is very good (ask for Will). Food and drinks are not really cheap for this area but good. Rooms are clean and good (wood or paint in the wardrobe smells strongly). Two areas should be improved: There is no wifi at all in the rooms, just lobby. The available internet at lobby is most of the time not probably working ! Towels and cushion for the beach / sun bench must be picked up and returned at the pool (strictly 8.00am-7.00pm) and personally carried all the way to the beach and back. Nice when you travel with family…. no a adäquate service for a hotel in these price level. Generally at Redang there are no taxi boats available like at Perhentian. If you wanna go to another beach or private snorkeling you habe to book over hotel for high costs. All Redang is very mich liked from Chinese tourist.
I had a great time staying at Laguna. Pro - Strategic location - Decent food, 3 restaurants available - Choices of activities; snorkeling, kayaking, diving, ATV, game room, etc. - Fishes were by the beach; there were trigger fishes and baby sharks too. - Staffs are super helpful and accommodating - Cleanliness; hardly any sand found in the room - Alert lifeguard Cons - Crowded - Expensive
The buffet from breakfast to dinner was good. Cant stop thinking about the view when having bfast. These resorts are suitable for a family with young toddler. The facility and the staff were very helpful to us. The only downside was the room given, it's a bit old room, we had bed bug bites on our last night there and the mosquito were really bugging us. Our room was facing the back of the resort and it was the last unit of the blocks. So a bit disappointed no view at all. We were given different type of room than what we booked.
The price is much cheaper than the most expensive terrace. Although it is slightly more expensive than other hotels on Changsapa Beach, it still has advantages in terms of room size, cleanliness, and service. It is located at the southernmost side of the beach, close to offshore diving spots and the pier. Overall, it is the most ideal accommodation on Redang Island.

Great recreational centre to book your various activities including snorkelling, diving, island hopping, cruise, jungle walk, etc. Only miss is the hotel is getting old & need refurbishment. Shower water pressure is very weak. Need to get rid of older bath towels.
