Lujiazui and New Int'l Expo Center Pudong hotels & places to stay

the hotel is located one or two stops from the main metro station at pudong. therefore we could get out at night to dinners without having to catch taxis which were hard to get during the months of shanghai expo. the front desk service was fast. the bedroom is the best part. it is indeed modern with all the amenities comparable with other big five star hotels, the decor is quite tasteful and minimal style. the bathroom seems larger than others we have stayed with lcd tv and big bath tub against the big window. we were lucky to get a room facing the main part of pudong and huang pu river so we could see the city views at night of shanghai wtc and jin mao buildings. we did not try the hotel dinner facilities but we did have breakfasta which seemed to be the usual abundants of buffet food. we had preferred a la carte menu ordering egg breakfasts and coffees, they were acceptable portions and good not over dried as they seemed to be prepared on orders and the coffees were also good. service was generally acceptable, we asked for the room to be cleaned while we had breakfast and it was cleaned as requested. this hotel seems to be brand new so on saturday night we were staying, there was local wedding which was acceptable. but our room was on the next floor up from the bridegrooms suite, there was a void connecting the two floors. therefore it was quite noisy during the traditional chinese wedding party in which all the friends of bride and bridegroom would tromp and party in the wedding suite. it was a large spacious hotel, the business centre was convenient on the floor with function rooms. over all it was a very good stay.

This has to be by far the best experience i had with any 5 star hotels in all my time travelling as a travel professional. This hotel is so well managed with impeccable service levels, motivated staffs and great rooms with fantastic views of the bund. Had issues with the booking due to confusing room types and rates displayed on Agoda. We booked this hotel only for the view of the bund but ended up booking another room type with no Bund view. Check-in staff was professional and even gave us an upgrade FOC after i explained our predicament. I really appreciate what they did as i was preparing for the worst when i realised we accidentally booked the wrong room type. Their desire to provide you with a pleasant stay with them and the fact that they went out of their way to do that shows what a 6 star hotel should be like. Yes 6th star is for impeccable service levels for hotels that walk the talk. Due to the booking error, we had only one breakfast included but there were 2 of us. Hotel allowed us to get the breakfast for 2 while they tried their best to get it sorted out. However, Agoda was very slow in response and could not even resolve the issue after 1 day. It was amazing as this is the only hotel i know of who allowed us to check-out and rectify this issue after i fly home. I have never quite know of something like this before. Concierge was a very pretty lady with very well spoken english who was very helpful and nice. I have to congratulate the GM of the hotel for the great management, motivated staffs and high service level all around.

This is a large, Chinese, modern, 4 or 5 star hotel, not brand new but a clean hotel. It is almost on the riverfront. You get a choice of river view or other and pay accordingly. There are a handful of restaurants along the river front, and of course the ubiquitos Starbucks. Some are bars, some cafes, some restaurants. Just take yourself along for a wander and explore. It is a great view of Shanghai, seeing the Bund from Pudong s the best way to see it, especially if you settle down for a bite or a drink. All the options looked dcent, tho perhaps it can be a bit quiet. The hotel is across the road road from the Super Brand shopping mall. Getting a taxi is not too bad, but if there is either a queue, or you just don't see any taxis, then walk over to the mall where there is usually a few of them waiting on the corner. If you dont fancy the standard, expensive buffet breakfast, take yourself over to the mall to Starbucks, or Lavazza or one of the local options. There is also a metro station just a few minutes walk away.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Large, clean rooms. Friendly staff that tries really hard to please. The hotel is located next to the Line 2 train station which connects PVG airport with the city. If you take Line 2 for two extra stops, you may use the super fast MAGLEV train to get to the airport. The Maglev is very convenient since it gets you to the airport in 7 minutes, compared to 40mins on the train. The Maglev is worth the effort. Back to the hotel. The rooms were large and new. The rooms have all the amenities Western travelers are accustomed to. The hotel is also near a shopping mall which has many places to eat and a lively night life. Great value and location make this hotel a good choice.

I stayed here as part of a team heading to the Shanghai Fair. Its the second time I've stayed and both times I have found that the hotel service, cleanliness and general facilities are impeccable. Its right next to the main entrance of the exhibition halls and is the most convenient spot if you are going to be spending a few days there. Its also just a short 20 minute cab ride to the heart of Pudong (Lujiazui). In hotel restaurants, bars and breakfast buffet are great. And there are plenty of cafes just outside. Great hotel, & a great spot for the business traveller.

Firstly, I am.happy that Novotel hotel has upgraded me to premier room during my check in . Mr Steven the Manager is a very friendly and caring person.After I complained the air conditioner is not cold. ,he immediately rectified the problem. He also apologised the inconvenient caused and sent me complimentary fruits . Thank you Novotel for your service rendered to a loyal guest like me.

we have been staying at pudong shangri-la hotel every time we visited shanghai, we are very well acquainted with the surroundings of the hotel, the bed linens are of the best quality. usually, we book for room at the horizon floor to have the privilege in using the horizon club lounge in entertaining our guest. we can also enjoy the convenient of having buffet breakfast the horizon club. the horizon club manager and staff are very helpful

We stayed there for an exhibition, and it was the cheapest hotel of that level around New Ehibition Center. Actually, the place is amazing for the price we paid! Rooms are spacious with huge beds and very clean bathrooms, service is nice. Breakfast was pretty poor by the way, but it exists anyway. If you're not ehibition visitor or participant, it can be very boring for you to stay in Pudong though.

The main reason for choosing Tong Mao is because of it close proximity to NYU Shanghai. About 10 min walk to Century Mall, a large mall with few subway lines and convenient access to many locations. Housekeeping is great and we were given a corner room that is quiet and comfortable large. Staffs were helpful and cheaper than most of the other branded hotels. Guests can use the gym and indoor pool for free although we didn't get a chance to use them. Apparently there is a North Korean restaurant on level 1. Not sure how was the food. Given the opportunity will come back again.

Good place for long term visit in the Pudong area. Very close to many restaurants, schools and western style grocery store with USA products. Right outside the apartment compound is a local guy selling fruit at good prices. For the coffee drinkers, there are three coffee shops including Starbucks. A western style medical clinic is right beside the apartments if you have a medical emergency. Meet a USA doctor and he recommended the clinic as it uses western sourced medications. Unit has small washer and dryer and kitchen. My room was very quiet with a view of the court yard and city. My only complaint is the gym doesn't open till 7:00 AM. Great for small kids we had our 9 and 4 year olds with us. The staff speaks very good English and are willing to help you with any issue.

This was our second time at the Green Court Diamond. First time 32 days, 25 & 7 with Agoda, then 20 nights again with Agoda. Listen this place is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC FOR THE MONEY AND HAS THE BEST FACILITY OF ITS KIND AMONG SERVICED APARTMENTS IN SHANGHAI . We decided to check out One Sunland Place on the subway, and Lanson Place across the street from the the other Green Court Place in Jin Qiao. Both other places were unclean, old and outdated furniture and just run down, not worth half the money they asked for. However the GREEN COURT DIAMOND IS FANTASTIC. BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE GREEN CITY PARK RESIDENTIAL AREA, MODERN SPACIOUS ROOMS, FULLY EQUIPPED, NICE UPDATED AND NEW FURNITURE. VERY VERY COMFORTABLE BEDS , BIDET TOILETS, GREAT HOUSE KEEPING. AMY WAS OUR HOUSE KEEPER SHE WAS THE BEST. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR LOCATION AND QUALITY AND SERVICE IN A SERVICED APARTMENT IN SHANGHAI THE GREEN COURT DIAMOND IS A MUST AND BEST VALUE FOR THE MONEY ANYWHERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have stayed here for 5 nights both last year and this year as I had attended the Music Expo which is very close to the hotel. This is an excellent hotel with good facilities, amenities, courteous staff, good F & B offerings, excellent housekeeping services and Concierge/Bell desk/Door staff that can speak decent English and go out of the way to help you. Keep it up, will definitely stay here again if I travel to the fair in the future.

hotel is new and facilities are good and well maintained. hotel is close to the pearl tower and the bund (by taxi). being located in a business area it is not close to shopping areas but these can be easily accessed by taxi. hotel decor and staff are more in line with a 4,5-star western hotel, which is a very pleasant change from some china 5-star hotels. staff is efficient and helpful. facilities and rooms and new and well maintained.

I've stayed in numerous hotels over the years and can confidently say that my experience at the Park Hyatt was second to none. The hotel itself is actually very discreet and almost feels like they took design from a 007 movie especially with the brown hues. Lobby staff was very helpful in providing directions, concierge staff were well mannered but most importantly the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms are spacious with the best rain shower I've ever used. The location could not be better with views of the bund and overlooking the Oriental Pearl. Would recommend this hotel to all travellers staying in Shanghai. The only downside(s) of the hotel are. the TV could do with an upgrade in both size and selection of channels (preferably HD and smart TV) and the mini bar could be slightly more realistically priced (water was $55 RMB). I decided to make my own minibar from the Family Mart on Level 3 after seeing the menu. However, overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The InterContinental in Pudong lives up to the 5 star billing. Rooms are large with all conveniences - you need to go club class to get free internet mind you but that also gives you lots of other perks such as extra breakfast options, tea and coffee on demand etc. Breakfast for the masses downstairs is vast with a wide range of all possible choices. Location is 10 minutes from Century Av or Shengcheng lu metro. you can walk to lujiazui very easily.

This was an exceptional hotel. I stayed 3 nights with my partner. The room was spacious, very clean and frequently cleaned and maintained by staff during the stay. It was well-designed and laid out with a lovely free standing bath with a view across Shanghai. We decided to go for a package which included lounge access. This provided breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. It was very good quality and value for money. Breakfast was a very good selection with healthy and indulgent options from across the globe. The swimming pool is large and well maintained (if a little cold) and there are also jacuzzi and steam room facilities. The gym was decent, though perhaps lacking a few key pieces of equipment. Just outside the hotel, the whole riverside area had been attractively redeveloped and was excellent for running or walking. Overall, our stay was memorable and the staff really made the visit by being so helpful and friendly. We were made to feel very special.

What I like about this hotel is first it got very cheap price with good quality Two it has great design, a large hotel lobby and very friendly hotel staff. Three, it has large room, very comfort, and clean. Four, it has a good location which is has near location to subway train station to Shanghai Science station. Five, it has a nice view from the hotel to Parkview Six, it has very near location to Shanghai Int'l expo if you are going to expo. I love this hotel and would like to stay again in this hotel in the future if I go to shanghai again.

I found this hotel in the agoda website and it was a bit discount and close to the expo center so I decided to book, there was nothing around the hotel but you can get to the metro station only 3 mins and also to the Maglev train to the airport. The bellman and staff is very helpful. The room is clean and the hotel is big and good. The restaurant buffet is very good, had many food for you to choose. If you have to go to the new exhibition center I would reccommend everyone to stay at this hotel. Don't forget to print the hotel map out in Chinese so you can give to the taxi driver, The full name of the hotel is Blue horizon royal parklane international hotel.

Radisson Blu Pudong Century Park was my home away from home for 8 days. On the first day I left my bags with my notebook, documents and passport in the taxi. The hotel staff especially Mr Yang, Chief Concierge came to my rescue. They tried all they could to call the taxi companies on recovering my lost bag. Despite my unfortunate incident, I had a truly memorable stay here in Radisson Blu Pudong Century Park. The rooms are clean with the right temperature, the lightings were nice, ample water with great TV programs to pass my days. Apart from that the hotel is situated near Carrefour, Uniqlo, Zara and plenty of restaurants and Starbucks within walking distance. Metro station is a bit far - approximately 20 minutes walk but the weather in November was just nice for long walks. Breakfast in the hotel is plentiful with huge varieties. If I were to come back to Shanghai, I will definitely come back to Radisson Blu Pudong. Thank you everyone at Radisson Blu Pudong Century Park for making my stay a great one.
