Where to stay in Mueang Kanchanaburi
Mueang Kanchanaburi hotels & accommodations

This is the best resort in Kanchanaburi. The view is stunning. The resort is only 15 minutes from the city center. It is very peaceful. Staff is very good. The food is standard not very expensive. One downside was the hotel network and tv system is internet based which sometime not working. But it is very minor because We went there for the view not TV.

The hotel is really nice, it is just at the river Kwai. The restaurant had a super view to the river. The swimmingpool is huge and warm. The staff was kind, but they was not able give me a map of Kanchanaburi. I guess it should not be a problem in a hotel. The room was nice, like on the pictures. The only negative regarding the room was a shower. We could shower only ...

Had a short but very nice stay at Tubtim Siam River Kwai Resort. The first thing I would like to mention is how genuinely friendly and helpful the staff are at this resort. I find that it is rare to find staff who take pride in and genuinely enjoy their work and it makes all the difference as a client. The resort itself is gorgeous. For someone like me who apprecia...

We booked this last minute and as a family of 5 with small children it was perfect. The retreat is a colourful and magical place on a big area right on the banks of Kwae Noi. It is quite far from down town Kanchanaburi and is about 300 baht in a songtaow. There's a station past the bridge station called Wang Yen if you get the train to here it's much quicker to get t...

Lovely grounds, comfortable rooms. The main issue we had was agoda said that children could stay free, but they couldn't and they tried to charge us. After 1 hour of sorting out Agoda actually paid for the kids and a room upgrade. Would highly recommend this hotel for the area. Need transport

There was only one staff who took care of the reservation and she was clumsy this time. Because I booked 2 rooms but I got just one room. Anyways, she fixed it out by giving us 2 options; 1 room here and another one at nearby resort, or stay together 5 people in 1 room. For me, neither one was fine but it was better than she didn't try to do anything.

The room was amazing and very clean, the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating-- especially the owner who speaks fair English, I loved this place! But it definitely isn't in the kind of place where you can walk down the street to get food for dinner. Honestly the entire city of Kanchanaburi is a place where you either need to rent a car, not be opposed to moto...
