I had great stay in the hotel. It was accessible, the train station is only 10mins away by bus and it’s only 2-3 stations away from our destination. It’s not a crowded area which i really like. The hotel was pleasant, clean and were several restaurants located within the beach area. I arrived very late at 1am, there was no one there to assist you (at least a guard to tell you where to go) but I managed to get inside (i felt like i was sneaking in) coz I discovered that the gates wasn’t locked out of exhaustion I decided to go inside without permission, then I realized that’s just the way it is there. No guards 24hrs. Which was not totally an issue as long as you can access the hotel. The hotel room was good enough, it’s spaceous enough, my only issue was there wasn’t enough storage for bags, shoes and clothes that our bags takes up the hallway space. There was faint foul smell in the bathroom (probably because of the drainage located right beside the toilet), the bathroom mat was quite dirty. The staff cleans the room everyday and changes towels everyday. There was an all in one shampoo-conditioner-body wash provided, aside from that you have to bring your own or buy toiletries (no lotion) for 10HKD in the reception. The staff in the reception was very accommodating and kind. Gave us clear instructions when asked the way around. Also, they let us borrow cords and adapters we needed as their sockets in the hotel isn’t universal. I had a pleasant stay, my son liked it a lot. Very kid friendly. We were able to explore what the hotel has to offer on our last day. So many things to see and do and my son also learned about the animal display (there was a lot). I would recommend families with children to stay in this hotel if you don’t like crowded areas.
Me and my family checked in at a hotel in central Hong Kong in Tsing Yi. However, we were terribly disappointed because all of the 3 hotel rooms were very small and we felt being in a box. The views of construction was everywhere, smoking on our floor was very unpleasant, and the staff were not friendly. After traveling from another country for long hours, tiny rooms were uncomfortable to the max so I had to book an acceptable accommodation for my family to be together and in a much better condition and location. That’s when I noticed Noah’s Ark Hotel website. I booked two grandlux rooms with Booking.Com and Agoda for 4 nights. Noah’s Ark Hotel is now my favorite place to stay in Hong Kong. On top of its perfect location being on the beach, it’s nice and quiet. Additionally, there are restaurants adjacent to the hotel and a good-sized grocery store.
This was our first visit to Hong Kong. They have a bus that goes directly to the hotel. You must get a Octopus card and Hong Kong SIM card from Klook . You can pick up at the airport. This card works on all transportation except taxi. Do not take taxis in Hong Kong; very, very expensive! The SIM is very good and works anywhere in Hong Kong. The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was kinda small and there is no room to hang or put clothes. The bed was very comfortable. There are no TV channels in English, but that's why I have Netflix on my phone. The water pressure was wonderful! The balcony was big with table and 4 chairs. The staff was super, especially Harun Tsang. She spoke pretty good English and was always helpful and smiling. We went here in mid March. The weather was cool. There is also a small beach here. We stayed here 7 nights. The breakfast was good, but the same everyday. There are several good restaurants nearby, as well as 7-11 & Fusion grocery store. Fusion has everything you may need. The MTR is close by. The bus is just outside the hotel and will take you to the MTR station. Download, and study the MTR mobile app. It will tell and show you exactly where to go with their trip planner. Again I stress to get the Octopus card and SIM card before arriving! They have a park at the hotel, but we didn't go because we went other places We went to Disneyland, Bauhinia harbour dinner cruise (EXCELLENT!), Macau via Turbojet boat, Macau open top city night tour (Awesome!) We booked all these with the Klook app. Very smooth transactions. This was the best trip we have had! No problems or worries.

However, restaurants in the area were quite pricey, so we ventured out and found affordable options like Circle K, 7-Eleven, and a small noodle house where we had delicious noodle soup. These were just an 8-minute walk away through a quiet and safe neighborhood. The buffet breakfast was okay, but overall, the experience was enjoyable and memorable for families seeking a mix of relaxation and adventure.

“Old but okay for a budget friendly stay”
Worn out carpets, check in counter that looked more like a home office., bed that I was suspicious of the cleanliness that I slept in my pants and tried to occupy the smallest area of the bed that I thought was kinda clean. The place gave you that feeling, it looked like the kind of hotel where you can find spy cams. But after the initial shock and because we were exhausted we found it an ok place to rest. I think they assigned us a family room at the end of the hallway so you have to walk through the well worn out carpet and uneven floor. We feel like there could be better rooms but we were assigned a very old one. To be fair, the bathrooms were clean, shower pressure perfect and breakfast was great. So yeah I would still choose this location over bug infested Disneyland resorts.
