I booked this hotel as I had a early morning meet up at Dongzhimen metro station for a Great Wall hiking tour. Hotel is less than a 5min walk away from Dongzhimen metro station, approx. 30min walk to Sanlitun village. Room was clean and front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Very good hotel for travelors using city's Metro system”
Great location at the terminal of airport express train and subway line 2 and line 13. Line 2 can bring you to downtown, the old railway station, and also high speed train station (Beijing South) by transfer to line 4. The executive king bed room is spacious, upscale and worth the money. Breakfast ( around $10/person) has many choices (buffet). Happy experience in this hotel.

Great Value, Great Location”
I stayed at the Oriental Garden Hotel Beijing for one night only on the way to another destination, and wished I'd been able to spend more time here. Great location a short walk from Dongzhimen Station, very convenient for those using the train to and from Beijing Capital Airport. The staff were very friendly, and did their utmost to accommodate me with service in English. The room was very nice, very comfortable with free Internet access. I would very much like to stay at the Oriental Garden Hotel again when next I visit Beijing.

Second Time Equally as Pleasant”
This is the second time I have stayed at the Oriental Garden in Beijing and I have to say I have been satisfied with both of my stays. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds, nice decor, clean linens and a wide selection of amenities. The location is ideal for anyone staying in Beijing- close to Subway Line 2 and the Airport line. Great food nearby as well as great shopping. Will definitely stay again next time I am in Beijing.

Hotel Oriental Garden in Beijing is a nice place to stay for both bussines and holiday makers. For business you can enjoy great room with office table and free internet. I recommend an executive package. Meeting room is really representative. For turism suitable as well because the hotel is located very close to 2nd ring Highway - only 30 minutes from International Airport. By taxi you reach within 10 minutes High class shoping malls or Silky way market, HardRock Caffee or number of Asian eateries and best restaurants. Within 15 minutes you will be at Forbiden city or lakes surrounded by hundrets of bars and in most of them you find a life band music - well done. I personally recomend visit of Russian District in Ritan. It is known as a location of most Ambassies and there are a lot of Russian restaurants and markets there.

Great location but hard beds”
We wanted to avoid the horrible Beijing traffic so booked a hotel close to the airport rail. Oriental Garden Hotel is less than 10 minute walk if you cut through Ginza Mall and follow the signage. The room is nice and big but found the beds a little hard for our liking. The staff are attentive and friendly with good English skills. Would stay there again.

Great hotel all round”
Great location for airport express (200mtrs), subway lines and major bus interchange. In (near) the diplomatic area. Whilst Beijing taxi's are hard at any time/place the conceirge staff are very good at getting them. Modern hotel, large rooms, well appointed wih some thought (as to plug and light location etc). Good water pressure, free LAN internet. Later check out possible (for late flights). Very friendly and helpful front desk staff and you will always encounter someone who speaks English. Room service staff very good and attentive (e.g. they noticed which side of the large bed I was sleeping in and moved the slipper layout for the second night!) Did not use hotel restaurants or other facilities. Would definitely stay there next time in Beijing.

after years the oriental garden hotel was again available in agoda. in the meantime i was staying in nearby hotels, which i found to be less in quality, but therefore much more expensive. contrary to many other chinese run hotels i stayed, this one has not only quite big rooms, they are also well maintained. all in all a very good deal if you're in beijing.

The approach to this hotel, despite being in a business district, with it's well kept gardens and water feature leads you into the hotel foyer with a really lovely ambiance. The staff are polite & respectful paying attention to every detail and being willing to help with a early check in. The room was comfortable with firm beds, nicely furnished and well equipped. The internet (lan) worked well in the room although the wireless connectivity in the foyer area was erratic. The hotel is well located in walking distance to the Airport Express Rail station and the subway (lines 2 & 13) making access to the airport and sightseeing quick and easy. Would certainly recommend this hotel and return if the opportunity presents itself.

Third time and still satisfied”
This was the third time I have stayed at the Oriental Garden and I continue to be satisfied each time. The rooms are a great value for the money with all of the amenities you could need, nice decor, many are newly renovated and the beds are comfortable. The location is also perfect with three subway lines on the same block and great food all around. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

it was my first stay in this hotel. It was just in the city center and was close to everything. I will recommend this hotel to my friends as they travel a lot as business travelers specially not far from the San litun area, Embassy area and village. Hotel stuff was nice , friendly and helpful. There were not any problems with communication and getting around. The decor is very oriental.

Great Hotel with a Great Location”
Every time I visit Beijing I always stay in this hotel. I know I can always rely on it for really nice rooms and a pleasant stay. The staff is really friendly and always willing to assist you. Great location with three subway lines (one to the airport), a mall across the street, a great food street down the road. It is out of the away from all of the touristy crowds yet still close enough to all of the tourist attractions. It is also a relatively cheap cab ride to the airport if you don't want to take the subway. Will definitely stay again.
