Nice location big room and clean, the bed is soft, but hotel put two single beds close together, it creates a gap in the middle, making it uncomfortable and causing back pain. Staff told me when check in , don't bring food up to the room to prevent odors from lingering in the room. Last night before check out, it's raining whole night until morning and I can't go out because no umbrella in the room and I can't order any delivery because can't bring food up to the room and no dinner. I understand if staff say like don't bring durian up to the room because it's smelly fruit and it will stuck in the room whole week but he said all food. Unhappy for the bed and can't bring food inside the room. I really don't recommend this hotel.
My stay at Peranakan was wonderful and truly made me feel at home. I arrived in the wee hours of the morning and was greeted by a helpful sign directing me to a staff member who gladly assisted me. The room was simple yet very spacious, and I loved the color scheme. They clean the room and change the towels and bed sheets daily, which I really appreciate as most hotels do not offer this level of service. Everything was perfect except for one thing: I hope they will have an elevator in the future.
Booked the deluxe room with balcony (with Netflix) so have to climb up and down 4 flights of stairs as it's located on 4th floor (spacious rooftop area on 5th floor). Room was very spacious, clean and location is definitely a plus with many cafes, restaurants, chinese temples etc mostly within walking distance. Appreciated very much the elder lady at reception who helped me to carry up my heavy luggage together. Everything's good for me here, only i don't like check-in & check-out time (u guess it 😅)

“Absolute Gem”
We had to spend a couple of nights in Phuket for a family function. It was a last minute booking, which had to be near the temple where the function was being held. The welcome was perfect, the manager on duty was super polite and extremely helpful. On a busy road near the walking street market in Phuket town, parking was obviously an issue. This was resolved promptly and efficiently. The rooms are superbly appointed, and spotlessly clean. The satellite TV options cater for all needs. This is my new "go-to" in Phuket for sure. Absolutely great place to stay!
