“Good but so close to being great...”
I loved my stay in page148. The hotel's a short walk from the jordan metro and the location is amazing. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, very communicative even via email and whatsapp. Now about the room, its decently sized for hongkong standard, new and spotless in terms of cleanliness. My biggest complaint about the room is the bedding situation, I stayed in the deluxe king room and the bed is basically two twin beds combined into a king bed. This is normal and standard practice in other hotels, except for the fact that there was a pretty hard and prominent bump in the middle where the two beds meet. Making it impossible to sleep anywhere near the middle of the bed. This wasnt a huge deal for me as I was traveling solo and can sleep comfortable just on either side of the bed but still kinda disappointing since i was expecting a full king size bed. I dont think this would be a comfortable sleeping experience for a couple though. The other minor complaints that I have is there was only 2 plug on the work desk and they were being used for the light and the tv. This meant that I have to unplug either one to use the outlet for my laptop which is pretty inconvenient as I was planning to do some work in my room. The plugs are also not universal plugs so if you dont have an international adapter already, you will have to purchase one to use them. I travel a lot and in my opinion a hotel in this price range should already have universal plugs in the room. Overall though, it was mostly a lovely experience. The bedding situation would be the only dealbreaker issue if I was traveling with a companion. But definitely would stay again for solo stays.
