Patong hotels & places to stay

As I write this, I am still at the hotel lobby waiting for our airport taxi. Our experience here was the best. Everything was beyond our expectations. 1. The staff are all friendly and really helpful. They will always serve us with a smile. Wherever we go within the hotel compound, the staff will always say hi to us. We were especially impressed when one of the staff who were concerned about our minibar in the room if there are any alcohol once she saw me wearing hijab. So this hotel, I can say that it is Muslim friendly. 2. We booked the room with a jacuzzi, everything was perfect. The minibar is free and they will refill it everyday. My husband really loves the bed. Once he is on the bed, automatically he fells asleep. It really is comfy. The jacuzzi works wonderfully. The room were clean and modern. I just don't have any negative things to say. And wifi is good. 3. Love how they have a shuttle every hour to go to patong beach. Since we're here for our honeymoon, so we didn't have the problem to go back to the hotel before 10pm. 4. The breakfast served are also muslim friendly and all tasted good. Again, we love the happy and smiley staff that keeps on asking if everything's okay. 5. The hotel spa is cheap. We were surprised when we see the price. We had traditional thai message. Our body felt a little lighter after message. 6. The staff kept my phone safely! As we checked out, I forgot about my phone. Left it under the bed sheets. Then we left our bag at the reception while we go to patong beach. I remembered my phone when we were outside. Thank god the staff found the phone and gave it to us once we arrived back to the lobby. Overall, it was the best experience. Oh, and we also got complimentary drinks at the Mai sky from the hotel for our honeymoon. Thank you Mai Patong for the 5 star service and facilities. Will definitely come back!

My girlfriend and i stayed at the Millennium for 10 nights in late feb/early march. Great hotel and our trip was fantastic. I have never reviewed a hotel but would like to make the following observations. It is very close to bangla rd - which is great. Short walk to everything - beach is 5 mins and everything else is closer. The "Beachside" pool is great and very quiet - 10 people there tops so a great place to relax. The lakeside pool is somewhat busier and we didn't go there other than to go to the gym (which was well appointed with ample free-weights and a smith machine which is far above what i expected). Having previously stayed (and enjoyed) the Holiday Inn, this resort is its equal (and in a better location save for the beach). I can't fault it, other than... It doesn't have a happy hour or other drink promotion. While this may seem trifling, it's not for young couples, most of which enjoy an afternoon drink before dinner. I refused to pay 180 baht (plus 7% vat and 10% service charge) for a cocktail on principal, knowing I could walk to the impiana and watch the sunset over the beach (which was great) and pay 110 baht a drink. I simply assumed ever hotel in Patong had happy hour, i was wrong. Other than that, the hotel is great and i recommend it. I didn't eat at the hotel because there are so many cheap options around that i didn't bother to try the hotels offering. Breakfast was good (but not quite great). The Hotel is connected to the major shopping centre in Patong - Jungceylon, which is very very handy. If you want to shop do it here and not at Central Festival (Phuket Town) as it is much smaller.

U Zenmaya Phuket Resort is the best place to stay while in Phuket, Thailand. It is located a few kilometers away from Patong Beach, overlooking the Andaman Sea and Patong Bay. And the views are simply breath-taking. Imagine waking up everyday to the picturesque view of the Andaman Sea and Patong Bay is truly amazing. Definitely paradise right from your room. I understand all of the rooms in the hotel take advantage of this magnificent scenery -- even the resort's restaurant, pool area and lounge bar have amazing views as well. This is definitely one of the resort's strongest point. And should you decide to go to Patong Beach to check out the night life or do some shopping, transportation is not a problem. The resort has free shuttle service to Jungceylon Mall in Patong Beach twice a day. Would have been better if there's pick-up service back to the hotel.. but going back to the hotel or getting around the area isn't really a problem as there are a lot of taxis and tuk-tuks plying the area, even at night or even in the wee hours of the morning. We got the Junior Suite Seaview Pool Access which comes with 1 Hour Spa treatment for 2 persons per stay. Truly, great value for money! The resort staff are ever friendly, helpful and speak & understand English very well. Kudos to the resort's F&B Manager Pom who made my friend's birthday extra special by whipping up a surprise creme brulee birthday "cake" during our stay... and to Chef Garfield who make sure everything was ok and checked too see if we have the best stay possible in the resort. Definitely, highly recommended for those who want to get the best of the both what Patong Beach has to offer and the best of a 5-star resort!!!

BEST HOTEL ever in Phuket! Nice and clean, Good food, Good location and great service! U will never regret! Special thanks to FO team/concierge and To MS DIANE. Location: it’s just a 10-15 min walk to Jungceylon mall, Bangla RD & Patong beach(where u can find more varieties of local foods and shoppings) for me the location was ok, as it’s always packed and noisy around central (if u are looking for a peaceful relax trip.) 👉🏻Free bus to patong 👉🏻U can also grab a “taxi bike” THB100 from hotel to patong beach/Bangla RD. And there’s a new coming night market nearby the hotel, just like Bangkok which will be more convenient if u are up to local food hunting. TIP: * if u guys can only accommodate 1 island hoppings on your holiday, don’t go to pHiphi island *best to book along the road side for tour package (u can negotiate)

i highly recommend this new boutique style trendy hotel and will most definitely stay here again. got lucky finding on agoda and took a chance since i realized the hotel has a new section that was just recently completed. in Patong area many of the hotels seem to be older so was very very happy to find this gem. i was previously staying at the Novatel which is just too run down for my liking. most patong hotels are away from the beach and most without good views. this hotel i think is one of the closest to beach and all units in the new section have perfect views. At nite you can hear the waves rolling in. thanks for a great stay and can't wait to return again someday soon!

This is the hotel that you should consider to stay as they provided what you are looking for! Great performance staff ,they greeted with smile and warm feeling. I stay at the Deluxe room where is quite larger than other hotels in Patong(but same rate) i love their facilities,especially the rooftip swimming pool. I am going to book thier pool access next time as they look really nice. :)

​​​Arrived the resort after midnight, staff were very friendly and helpful. Our second time at Diamond Cliff, room was very nice, large and clean with beautiful sea view. The breakfast was very good indeed, plenty of choice. The resort has 3 swimming pools, we prefer the pool at the Grandwing and enjoyed pool side snacks & drinks , water falls , water slide etc. We stayed room 2506 with beautiful pool & sea view and I would like to recommend to stay high floor of Grandwing building. The hotel has good location in a quiet area of north end of Patong, just only 5 minutes walk to Patong beach. Shuttle to Phuket town and Bangla road is free but limited seats available , so , have to book in advance. For me, everything was great beyond my expectations regarding to bad reviews I found and would definitely come back here again. By the way we stayed Ocean Suite and highly recommend for those who like great views.​

Royal Paradise Hotel is definely a piece of paradise within the Paradise Island of Phuket. Located close to great bars (Many gay), restaurants, shopping malls and only 200 meters from the famous Patong Walking Street. The beach is a good 15 minute walk from the hotel, but not being close to the beach is very much made up for by the large beautifully landscaped pool area, which must be visited around 5pm for the wickedly wild Cocktail Happy Hour. Clean and well appointed rooms, together with friendly welcoming staff, make sure that our stay here is always perfect. We have tried a few other hotels in Patong, but in the end we find the overall experience and value at the Royal Paradise Hotel is always the best choice for our stays in Phuket.

Burasari is absolutely beautiful and I am so happy that I chose this as my last accommodation in Thailand. I honestly can not fault a single thing. The grounds were gorgeous - lots of plants and trees, as well as a handsome parrot that liked to whistle a lot. Food was delicious and the selection of breakfast was superb. Both pools were fantastic! The spa and massage rooms were very calming. The location was great - away from the noise of Bangla Rd but still close enough to walk, and Patong Beach just metres away. The hotel really is a hidden gem. I knew the hotel was undergoing some renovations upon booking, so I requested a refurbished Elite room which was just wonderful! It was super spacious, comfortable, clean and modern, with a hint of Thai touch. The bed was enormous! Staying in the room didn't feel like you were staying in a hotel as it had that "homely" feel to it. The amenities in the bathroom were great - loved the scent of the gels, lotions, etc. I also thoroughly enjoyed the pressure of the shower as well. The free mini bar every day was a great idea! Housekeeping did their job well every day. The ONLY thing I can slightly fault is the lack of sun lounges by the pool. But other than that, it was beautiful in many ways. Those considering staying in Patong, don't look past this hotel! It's a must. I will definitely be back again. Thank you for such a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Out of the 4 hotels I stayed in in Thailand - including Bangkok, Chiang Mai and another hotel in Patong - this was definitely the best one!

We've stayed at the resort for 10 days with my wife and we've had a Blast! The entire Paripas Patong Staff from the housekeeping to the front desk were sooo great to us, they make us fell like we were at home always available when needed. I wanted to raise my hat to Krissanat Kiritanawut he was the tour operator for Passa Tour and he was such a great help for us he listens to what we wanted to do what our budget was and then recommend what was the best for us without pushing to buy premium tour from the first day until the very last one he is been such a great help to book taxi, tours, or visits I will definitely come back to Paripas Patong the next time I will be visiting phuket. We just had the best time in this resort. The hotel room is so clean and nicely done in terms of its architecture and design. We had the room with private pool/jacuzzi which is really perfect to cool us down after going out in the busy and hot street of Patong. Its a resort experience like no other. The staff are just the nicest and most accomodating people i have met in thailand. Its a 15-20 minute ride from the busy street Patong which you'll definitely appreciate the quite and cozy ambience of the resort and its view. Plus,they provide every 2 hour shuttle to/from Patong which for me is really great coz the transportation in patong would cost you at least 400 baht each way...you get to meet other people whose staying at the resort wirh you and sharing your trip experiences while enjoying their Mercedes shuttle bus 😊... its really worth every penny you'll spend in this place...trust me.

This hotel is probably the southmost hotel in Patong, which means it is far from Bangla st; this is a good thing as my wife and I loved the walks every day, back and forth; we could have taken a tuk-tuk but that was not a lot of fun, except of course when the sun is unbearable. I know a lot of people complain about the hill where this hotel is located but then again, if you like walking, this is not a problem. There is no usable beach although one could walk a little bit on the narrow strip of sand and rocks. The breakfast buffet has a lot of variety and they change options every day so as to not get bored with the same food. We did not try any of the restaurants for lunch or dinner but we recognize a nice romantic dinner is a possibility. We could never find the SPA but with prices at least five times less expensive all over Patong this was not a problem.

The hotel was beautiful and we had a great stay! The location is close to Patong Beach but not right in the middle of the craziness. It’s quiet and secluded at the property and because it’s on a big hill it has a great view of two different beaches from the pool and rooftop bar. The staff are very nice and helpful. The bell boy Sek Oil and also Winn at the front desk were very helpful during our stay. The hotel itself is modern and sleek and has a lot of nice to touches and details are the property. The different bars and restaurants on property are also very nice. The highlight is the infinity pool and the views from up there though. We spent quite a bit of time floating around in the infinity pool. I recommend staying here if you want somewhere both quiet and nice if you are in the Paton Beach/Phuket area. We stayed in a Deluxe Sea view room and it was a great view to wake up to and the room itself was very nice. Double rain shower heads in the bathroom was a nice added touch!k The prices on property for food and drinks were a bit high for Thailand but still reasonable in relation to prices in the US. You are paying for the convenience. Also we prices out using Grab vs the local taxi and the local taxi pricing won. There are about 5-10 drivers at the bottom of the hill that handle most of the taxi for Crest. Use the free shuttle when you can to Patong beach and paradise beach but I recommend taking one of the drivers cards Incase you need them to pick you up or to take you somewhere. For instance with grab it was 340 baht to go to Patong beach but the local taxi charged 300. Don’t use the tuk tuk drivers in Patong because you will pay more (unless you just want the experience to say you did it).

One of the best hotels in Thailand that we stayed in. These not only allowed us an early check-in but also made sure that our stay was a comfortable one. Staff:The staff was very friendly and helpful esp the front desk Manager Fareya, who accommodated us in the best way possible. Location: walking distance from the Patong Beach. Cleanliness: super clean roam and terrace and the maids did an awesome job with the room cleaning Food: the breakfast was a lavish one with a buffet having so many options. It was the best part of the stay and we enjoyed waking up to a yummy breakfast each day. The pool was so nice and big. They give you welcome chocolates. They provide you with many mini bar items in room including crisps, chocolates, water bottles and soda tins. Mini bar is for free. The location of the hotel is ideal as many restaurants are nearby. You can also rent a bike right in front of the hotel. The spa at the hotel is exceptionally good, me and my wife had a 2 hour massage and we really enjoyed it. ☺ ☺ Overall it is a 10/10 place to stay in Phuket.

From the time I entered the hotel, the staff were so attentive and detailed, up to the time I left the hotel 2 days later. The hotel is pretty new, so the room was still in tip top condition. The infinity swimming pool was so awesome, one of the few things hotels in Patong do not have. Service staff were excellent, always polite and smiling. Check in process was a breeze, perhaps it was due to the fact that we checked in on a less busy morning. But it was all perfect. We have no complaints for the trip. Breakfast was very good, along with a beautiful view of Patong City. Located on a hill, it was a pleasant 10 minutes walk back from Jungceylon, away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Patong stretch. Complimentary shuttle tuk tuk runs from hotel to Patong on a hourly schedule. We took the tuk tuk only once and walked the rest of the other times. Fantastic hotel with a superb location. We enjoy walking, so no problem for us!

Great hotel facilities and professional staff. Great 4 star hotel in Patong. Nothing wrong. Best location in the busiest area though still very peaceful sleep. Best infinity roof top pool around. I checked in on my birthday, after mentioning it, the desk staff came up with a birthday cake and candles. next morning I had a plate of incredible tasting fruits left in the fridge. Will definitely be back next time for a longer stay if I can handle being in Patong again.

Wow. What a hotel. Let's start with the location. Its just out of Patong (5-10 minutes) and thats great. Close enough incase you need to go to Patong, but far enough away to get away from the low life farangs hanging around there. I have just recently married, and as such we booked 4 rooms here as part of our post-wedding trip with my family. Khun Bow (manager) kindly upgraded us all to deluxe rooms, and they were absolutely beautiful. We were situated on level 2 (3rd floor) same floor as the pool, on the front building. Amazing undisrupted views of the bay and Patong. Truely stunnings. Huge balcony, and the bath was great with surround windows to get a great view whilst bathing. The place just feels so good being there, the rooms and the whole atmosphere is so relaxing. The pool is brilliant. Not deep enough for my liking, but absolutely beautiful, infinity pool with swim up bar. If I had just one complaint, 2 actually, they'd be: 1.) the music at the pool bar is absolutely disgusting. I am only 26, but this is some kind of rave music and it just doesn't go down well. Songs have swearing in them, and its just horrifying to listen to, this constant drone of beats... 2.) the cost of food is atrocious. This is Thailand, and a pad Thai should not cost 400 baht. Neither should 1 small can of Singh beer cost 175 baht. Nice hotel and all that, but come on. The breakfast on level 6 is the best breakfast I have ever had in my life. There is so much choice, I can't even begin to tell you. From full blown cooked meals, to fried western food, to fruit, cereal, doughnuts, bagels, yoghurts, even a pancake maker!!! Same goes for the drinks at breakfast. There really is just so much choice. Although the other paid food is expensive, the food is damn good and I do reccomend it. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thanks again khun Bow. Also, the staff are all brilliant and friendly. I will be back.

Just had a 2 nights stay at Palmyra Patong Hotel and I was pleasantly surprised by this small little hotel tucked in the corner of Patong. It is accessible to Patong beach and the main shopping area (Juncelyon), which is about 10 min walk. This can be a little long on a hot day but it's always interesting to walk along streets of Patong and discover new things. I like this hotel to away from the crowd yet still accessible to shops and beach. I must say that the superior room is bigger than I expected with a nice little balcony. The pool of the hotel is very attractive for swimming, though its a little small. One small incident to take note is that we actually asked the hotel to help us get a cab to Kata beach and the hotel showed us the price chart of THB400 but when we arrived at Kata, the driver actually demand THB500. We were a little annoyed, though this might be the driver's fault instead of the hotel. But I do expect the hotel to work with better/honest drivers (this is the reason why I asked the hotel to book a cab for us). Besides this slight gliche, it was still an enjoyable stay and definitely recommended.

me and my daughter loved our time at grand mercure phuket patong, hotel is fantastic and great location for everything, swimming pool & steam rooms were great and food in hotel was excellent but what stood out most is the staff everyone was so helpful and pleasant to us all the time front getting us taxis , helping with our tours, at breakfast, room service. special thanks to jamnong bootsong who really went out his way to make sure we were enjoying our stay and thank you warawudhi pumthong for your help and advice. when i go back to phuket this is the only hotel i will stay thanks everyone at grand mercure .

Location is key for any new travelers visiting Phuket, was next to the beach, and a short walk to practically anywhere in Patong. Facilities were very clean, hotel is new. Minor things are off, like an impractical sink in the middle of the room, and light switches for every light bulb, but overall really enjoyed the hotel. Great rooftop pool and bar with scenic views of Patong and Patong beach, with good amenities at your doorstep, including a Muay Thai ring, and night market. Breakfast was good too, I would recommend to any group of traveler visiting for the first time!

There are a lot of hotels in Patong but, not many located right on the beach, which the La Flora is. So, you couldn't ask for a better location. In addition, the properties two swimming pools are fantastic, I think 50 meters in length or, very close to it so, great for lap swimming. In addition, the layout of the hotel around these two pools, with rooms having direct access to the pools from their verandas, is really nice. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. However, it does market itself as a 5-star resort but, there were definite signs of age (wear and tear) at the resort, largely due to its proximity to the sea and effects of the climate there on wood and other building materials. The hotel will need to invest in the near future to renovate/upgrade its facilities to continue providing a 5-star experience for its guests.

It was a great stay in The Crib Patong Hotel for my 4days 3night in PAtong Phuket. THeir staff all are very friendly and helpful. I request for early check in and check out, They are kindly arranged to me. The hotel location are prefect, 7-11, Boxing centre, Banzaan Fresh Market, Jungeylon shopping mall just at corner. Patong beach From hotel walk to there around 10minutes. Highly Recommended and will come back again.

As we booked this hotel we didn't think much of it other than that the room layout was nice. However we were pleasantly surprised at how big this hotel was! We requested for a room on a higher level therefore we had to take many sets of elevators. The view from our room was a hilltop and it was stunning! On the 2nd level there is also a lookout to Patong beach and the city. Pros: everything about this hotel was flawless, location (2 minute walk from Patong Beach, 20 minute walk from Jungceylon, family mart right next to the hotel, if you turn left there are local street foods that are super cheap), hotel was very peaceful and quiet, no insects, amazing staff, great value, big rooms, great bathroom, facilities were very nice and balcony view was stunning! Cons: nothing! You must must book this hotel! We booked the deluxe room.
