“A stay that left a lasting impression”
Looking for a place to stay in Tsim Sha Tsui? Look no further. This is genuinely the place to be. The hotel staff were exceptional from start to finish. Having worked across hospitality, telecommunications, aviation, finance, and now education, customer service is something I place very high importance on. I strongly believe in being proactive rather than reactive, and this hotel delivered that consistently. From the moment we arrived, the concierge did not simply walk out. They ran out to assist us, immediately collecting all four of our suitcases and carrying them into the lobby. There is a short flight of stairs at the entrance with no lift. While a wheelchair lift is available, it requires manual assistance from staff, which they handled effortlessly and without hesitation. The check in experience exceeded expectations. The staff noticed we were travelling with two children and proactively offered extra amenities such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers, towels, and hand towels without us needing to ask. While the standard pillows were a little low for our preference, the hotel offers a pillow menu with a variety of options delivered promptly by housekeeping. The location is outstanding. The hotel is directly above Harbour City shopping mall, which connects to several other malls. It is also opposite one of the largest Apple Stores I have seen in Hong Kong. The surrounding area offers everything from local cuisine to luxury brands, while Harbour City itself provides a wide range of affordable shopping options, including an excellent Uniqlo with a far broader selection than usual. The bedroom was beautifully designed, spacious, and extremely practical. There was more than enough room to place all four suitcases both on and off the ground without the space feeling cluttered. The room had everything you would expect from a hotel, but executed better and in a more thoughtful and useful way. Returning to the room each evening felt genuinely comforting. After a long day out, it felt less like a hotel room and more like coming home. A special mention must go to Kooby from the concierge team. As advised by Kooby, we came downstairs at 7.50am and he was already working that morning. He and another staff member personally walked us out to the front of the hotel and assisted in placing our luggage into the taxi carefully and professionally. There was not a single moment of hesitation. Kooby is someone I would strongly recommend for a management role if the opportunity is available. Staff with his level of knowledge, manners, and professionalism are rare. Please hold on to team members like him. They are loyal, dedicated, and will undoubtedly be the backbone of this hotel’s continued success. People like this are hard to find and even harder to replace. They deserve to be recognised and rewarded accordingly. The taxi arranged by the hotel was perfectly sized, comfortable, and smoke free, driven by a courteous young driver, which made the journey feel safe and relaxed. Overall, this hotel sets a benchmark for what true hospitality should feel like. Exceptional service, an unbeatable location, and a team that genuinely cares about their guests. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hong Kong.
