It's a short uphill walk to the lifts, but rather than carry your skis and boots each day you can leave them at Paulo's overnight at the Clotes lift. You can also hire your skis from here. Best food in town undoubtedly Falcone restaurant - recommend booking in advance. You should also check out Moncrons Cocktail Bar for a warm welcome and good beers.

I really enjoyed my stay there. It is near one of the metro stations and particularly the neighborhood is not the best but close from the city center and staff were great.i would stay there agin.

Nice hotel with good design. Only one small bottle of water (more in pricy minibar). Bottled water is really cheap. It wouldn’t cost the hotel much to give more water.

My journal comments were "I liked the hotel very much and the staff are obliging." Car parking, although an additional cost, was within the complex, the GPS located the hotel easily which was not always the case during our car tour of Europe. We would stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at the NH Piazza Carlina. Staff was incredibly nice, very helpful. Gorgeous room looking over the piazza. Excellent breakfast in the central courtyard, nice happy hour drinks on the 4th floor terrace. An excellent hotel with lots of charm.

I would say.. the best hotel in Turin within Budget. The Rooms are very comfortable, very clean, Breakfast is OK, Internet is Fast. The Bathroom as got Jacuzzi Bath Tub to relax. I really recommend this hotel to all.

The location is 15 minutes walking to Stressa and the pier to go to the islands. Nice and clean.

Excellent location and very good hotel located in an old monastere , we'll be back. Just surprise with the restaurant, a bit too expensive !? They should propose a daily menu at raisonnable price for guests staying at the hotel. BTW, you have also a few nice small ristorantes in the village, at 10' walking distance

We got up graded to a better room The location is best, by the lake. The reception staff is very helpful. Breakfast is expensive €34!!! Parking for the night like in many Italian cities is €11.

It was the most orrible experience ever

Little stuffy at the hotel room and air ventilation system was not that good... being forced to open the window but got air pollution as the noise from the car at main road had influenced my sleeping quality

We were on a train trip through Italy and the hotel is quite good to be reached from the train station - if you dont ahve too much luggage. The location is supperb with a great view over the lake. We managed to get a front, high room and enjoyed a glass of wine with a great view on the balcony.

Hotel Ancora is located in the heart of Intra. It is close to restaurants and shopping. Being set at the lake font means excellent views from the windows. Most hotels in Vebania have somewhat shabby or distasteful room interior. Hotel Ancora is not perfect but is one of the best options. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast is great.

The beach and terrasse of restaurant were the things I will remember from my stay at this nice hotel. As well as super SPA where we where only two! I recommend this hotel to everyone who want to relax and spent romantic weekend.

Our GPS had difficulty to find this hotel location and took us on a detour, but found it in the end. Shopping at Serravalle outlets was a great disappointment. Boring styles of clothing at ridiculous prices. When shopping in other countries, we can easily find better styles and quality at 30-70% less, at normal stores, not 2nd rate outlets! Lovely people running the hotel, nice neighbourhood

I had stayed at the hotel a few times before and found that the high standards have been kept up and the rooms still look as fresh as they did when the hotel opened. Moreover, breakfast has significantly improved since my last visit, with very fresh fruit salad (a rarity in my experience) and excellent cakes being provided. All this for a very reasonable price.
