This hotel is by far one of the very best 5 star hotel I have ever stayed. It suprassesd all my previous experiences in other 5 star hotels I have visited around the world. I had a two week trip to China. I stayed at the Beijing Prime (4-5 star)then this hotel(4 star) then Chengdu Prolit Lanke(3 star) hotel and finally the Days Inn Beijing(4 star) I had the economy room with no window. So i'm guessing the rooms only get better. My room was on the 16th floor and it was lovely. Modern, clean and spacious. I would rather have had this room th...

The facilities at Hilton Xi'an is as good as any 5 star hotel. It is comfortable, clean and has great food. The location was convenient, close to the metro and walking distance from several popular tourist sites. The best feature of the hotel is the staff - the reception desk staff, the concierge, the staff at Cafe Xi'an where we had our breakfast, the staff o...

Excellent Room. Very classy. Jason the manager was a great guy and very helpful. Front desk staff were a bit too demure even for Chinese standards. I didn't get the welcome feeling from anyone other than Jason. Also, hotel policy states that housekeeping doesn't do dishes. Bad policy at a Resistance. Hotel needs to do this. Excellent gym too. Really special.

Stayed two nights in a Deluxe Suite at Grand Soluxe International Hotel in Xi’an and that was a great decision. We arrive at the Xi’an Railway station from Shanghai and the hotel was only a block away. As you depart the station and pass the city wall the hotel is at 11:00. The second reason to stay at the hotel is Tourist Bus #5 (route 306) leaves from the east side of...

We had a very pleasant stay at The Sofitel Hotel. The hotel is well located within walking distance to some of Xi'An's main sites and is modern and attractive .The best part of our stay was the outstanding service provided by Mark and James at the concierge desk. When we discovered that our next morning's flight to Chengdu had been cancelled, they immediately gave th...

Back packer combined with low budge hotel. Newly renovated with simple furniture, if you are looking for a cheap and clean place to stay in a good location this is a perfect choice. Rooms close to public toilet and shower could be noise which is the one we have got but no room is available to change at the time, remember to mentioned this to when booking. Rood top bar ...

One thing which strikes us most during this stay in Novotel Xinqiao was the exceptional service from the staff at the concierge desk. Two male staff, particularly Lee, helped us a great lot in booking a tour in China. When we approached them, they even went to the extend of using their own phones and accounts to help us, ensuring we are able to book the tour as we did ...

Gran Melia is a truly 5 star and most wonderful place to stay in Xi’an. A hotel I will not missed when I visit Xi’an again and will surely recommend to my friends and family. Got to Xian for a day trip just to see the fabled Terracotta Warriors. Tour guide picked us up from hotel and afterwards dropped us off at the hotel. The hotel is not located along the main road, so will require guests to walk down the smaller road to access it. Overall, we are very satisfied with the hotel because of the exceptional service rendered here. Hotel staff are very courteous and prompt in providing assistance and follow-ups. My wife and I had travelled to Xi'an in early May for an extended stay of 8 nights in order to visit the sights in and around this great city, and we considered ourselves very lucky to have chosen this hotel. We found the room to be very cosy and pleasant. It was well equipped with everything that you'd expect of a hotel of this standard, although the Wi-Fi was not tha...

Although location might not be the best but the hotel staff service was excellent ! Very helpful in trying to help us resolve matters with the local cab company when my sister left her phone in the cab. Did not expect to be able to retrieve the same but attitude of the hotel staff made the incident much bearable. There was a game room with Daytona, basketball, snooker ...

The location and cleanliness were great. The beds were on the small side--usually Chinese double rooms have two Chinese twin beds, which are about 42" wide, halfway between an American twin and an American double. This hotel had on Chinese twin and one American twin. It was clean and the AC worked well though and the location was perfect. NO ENGLISH IS SPOKEN by the s...

Stayed here for one saturday night on a weekend break in Xi'an. The staff were really helpful and attentive. We had a Club Room so you expect a little luxury and i wasn't dissapointed, the room was massive and immaculate. The buffet breakfast was wonderful, this is not the hotel to choose if you are on a diet. The only downer is the location. Tt's too far to walk from ...

For Americans familiar with the Howard Johnson brand don't think of an orange roof family style hotel. This is a modern high rise hotel with the quality room one would expect of a 4-5 star hotel. While not of the same standard as Sheraton, Hilton, Shangri-la, it is not much below this level. Personally feel it is great value for the money with an excellent location.

I had absolutely the best experience at this hotel. Couldn’t fault it. After getting off a long 13 hour train ride I was ready for a nice room and it didn’t disappoint. Great large comfortable room with big open bathroom. The service was also outstanding. The girls behind the desk were more than helpful. All of them. Also hotel is situated in a great part of town near...

It made us feel at home immediately when we arrived in this authentic American hotel, especially after our night train ride to the dusty ancient city in China. The room has good size, well appointed with new furniture. The bed is heavenly soft. We stayed in Chinese 5-star hotels in other cities and found their beds too hard. The bathroom is clean and spacious. Towels ...

I live right outside of Xi'an for work and come into the city every weekend. I've tried a few other hostels but I find myself coming back to Seetang time and time again. The staff are extremely friendly, the rooms and facilities are clean, and it is in a ...
Cheap places to stay in Shaanxi

The staff at the hostel were really friendly and spoke good English, they even booked us a taxi to the train station when we were leaving. The sky bar on the 12th floor is great and the staff in there were really nice and the food was ok. Only downfall was the room was stinking of cigarettes when we arrived and it was freezing cold, the heater didn’t work very well but...

I had been missed my train so I found this hostel and direct booked. It said only 6 bed dormitory and I thought it was mixed but it's female dorm. Located near Xi'an Drum Tower and Quarter Muslim just walk 10 mins. They provide sandals, toilets are clean, even so staff couldn't speak English fluently but we communicate easily. Just two things minus for me : * The rece...

I had a lovely stay here. I stayed for 2 nights. The first night I came in expecting to be in a dorm room an was pleasantly surprised to find that I would have a room to myself for the night. The second night I stayed I was told the same things, but then it was changed and I was to have a room mate. This was not a problem for me as I paid for a dorm room. The location ...

I booked 3 nights stay with them, I am happy with the services provided. Except for the room unavailability on the first night though it was a prepaid booking, it became a hassle for the old folks especially when arriving at the owl hours. Other than that, I would say the staffs have rendered very good services by making arrangement for all the short trip which include...

Although they advertise as hote, actually it is not a hotel. It is just stay in one apartment with other , located on 8th floor. Not give full facilities. Although they advertise aircon facilities, they keep the aircon remote ,don't give us and just open the window. If you can't give , why did you advertise that facilities? Really disappoint. Never stay at there again!...

The room description on the website said "shower" and as it was a separate room on the top floor I assumed it was in the room but it was a common shower room/ laundry room. I knew it was a hostel so this wasn't a problem for me but my wife was less understanding as I said the room had a shower in it. The room description could be a bit clearer. I wouldn't have booked t...

We stayed at Zergs for four nights and really liked it. We got delayed on a very long bus ride from Chengdu, and missed our first night and they did not charge us. We also got a lovely room with two beds, but asked for "the big bed" we saw in the photos, and they switched us to one. The room was just lovely with a thin mat on a huge cement platform (get the western ...

Booked 2 nights here and ended up staying 5 nights. The owner is lovely and really went out of his way to help us, he also did our laundry for free too! The room was spacious, clean and so warm and cosy considering it was -4 outside! The location is great, close to shops and restaurants and right opposite a bus stop. We had trouble finding the property as there are no ...

This was a NIGHTMARE place to find as the cab driver and several people just did not know where this place was. We resorted to going to an expensive hotel and asking directions as they could speak English. We were there during the week long National holiday as the rooms were seriously over priced. The guy working there was ok but spoke no English, so had to get another...

The building of the hotel is quite old. the staff don't speak english but they are quite friendly n willing to use app to translate and help you. location is just outside of the city wall. bus transport is easy from here. just walk less than 400m or so to a bus stop. the Air conditioning works but during autumn when it hits 0 or less, it is not sufficient so you will s...

Good location, close to everything that we need. Although a bit noisy at evening due to the live music played from those bars located at the next street, the lovely design, clean and comfortable beds, still made this small old house the best place to stay in Xi’an. Mr Hengyang Liu had brought us so much fun during the stay. Another gentleman of the front desk also had ...

The Chinese couple that run this hotel are so kind and helpful with everything you need. They will always pick you up and drop you off at the airport no matter what time of day. The woman there also speaks English which is really helpful! They also give great travel advice for the best ways around Xi'an. Definitely recommended! 깨끗하고 친절한 호텔입니다. 3일동안 이 호텔에 숙박하며 감사하고 기...

This was a great hotel in xian. The owner and his daughter are so kind and helpful. They pick you up from the airport for free and we're always there when we needed them. They can help arrange transportati...

We had a most wonderful stay in XiAn thanks to the wonderful host. Help us with transport arrangements and took us around the city for a day and send us to airport at very reasonable rate. Highly recommended for one who want an easy and relaxing time in XiAn.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We have been to three jinjiangs throughout China and this one was by far the best. Shopping centre across the road is very big. Located near a lot of shops. Okay Internet connection in the lobby. This was very good value for money.

Read mixed review about the hotel, but my stay ended up to be a great experience. I was lucky to be upgraded to the new wing. Everything in the room was sparkling new, there were even choices of lights for the bathroom, spa soft or spa normal. The service was at best efficient, though at times could be curt. I would still go back to this hotel for other great points t...

Great location situated in the old town where all the attractions are. Cool decor with modern Chnese vibes. No TV or desk or wardrobe which is a bit inconvenient if you are staying more than 3 days. The hotel pets are cute & add a certain charm to our stay. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

3 of us checked into 3 different rooms on 6th floor and we were astonished to find out that the Hotel uses Central air conditioning system and during this autumn period the staffs actually told us the Hotel doesn't turn on the aircon instead they are taking in the air from outside and blow it into our rooms. Luckily my room windows can open just a bit to ventilate, bot...

We are backpackers who were given a free upgrade to this hotel due to some booking issues. We checked in maybe half an hour after the booking was made with zero issues. So we were pretty thrilled with how spacious our twin room was and the luxury of having more than one pillow and a fairly comfortable bed. There was a TV, desk, wardrobe and a mini fridge. We had a pri...

Very good hotel, best I have stayed in before. Hotel was clean, new, modern. They missed no details. This is the type of hotel that provides umbrellas to you when it's raining outside, and the type of hotel which has fast stable internet. The hotel and the staff were great. The breakfast was good, a fusion of "American" and Chinese fare. The staff were helpful, occasionally they had to find the person with the best English, such as when we wanted to get a cab to the Terracotta warriors and airport but they were always accommodating. The location was relatively nice and quiet. Unfortunately there wasn'...

overall, hotel is decently well maintained, valued for money especially for biz traveller who only need to spent time having desired rest, and not staying long inside the room for comfort. however room does provide comfy armchair and serves small 2 person meeting well. room are spacious and able to acommodate small family purpose. location is well positioned, within t...

This place is beyond our expectations. Convenient location but not too crowed. Subway station is steps away. Ten mins to bell tower. The room is very clean. Comfy and luxury. The hotel was booked on Agoda after cancelling a prior booking for another hotel which reveived some bad reviews. This is one of the nicest hotel experiences in 40 years of travel . In general the staying was nice. a minor problem with the small nails that hold the carpet which was fixed when I asked very quickly. Room great - very big, very comfortable bed & all amenities you would expect. Bathroom fantastic - shower could fit 4! Visited the Western restaurant one night & the food was good & not too expensive for a hotel. Staff were great on all occasions - most spoke English. Only two criticisms: the WiFi didn't work for the duration of my stay & the location is quite far from...

Most helpful staff at a hotel I've come across in my entire stay in China. One guy stood out the most, unfortunately didn't get his name but he was extremely helpful from giving suggestions on what to do for the day, to arranging transportation and providing adequate info for us to catch bus's on our next leg of our journey's. Good location being right in front of a...

I stayed here for two nights. No staff speak English, internet issues, food poor, aircon doesn't work (seemed like cost savings), the charged me for breakfast even though it was included but after 25 minutes of trying to explain their error I gave up and paid. I wouldn't stay again

Gaoxin district is definitely away from the city area, so it's not suitable for travellers whom are visiting Xi'an for tourism visits. However, I was there for work purposes, so the location of the hotel was excellent, convenient for food, shopping area (high end brands though). Staff was very helpful when I needed to call for a taxi to rush to the train station, staff...

It was my first business trip stay at this hotel. When I checked in, I was welcome by very friendly staff Summer 夏秋 with her great service and smile. The pool, jacuzzi, and workout facilities were gorgeous. The FOOD was wonderful and all the restaurants were really hip. I’m actually already booking home stay in Xian via Airbnb but after I see the room condition, I decide to look for a hotel... I had find at least 6 Hotel, travel by didi, spent at least 3 hours to find it... this hotel is the best location for traveller

Location was great, close to subway and eating street. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The room look great, clean and neat. Wifi works good as well. The only thing not good is the drainage system in the bathroom, always clogged and water unable to drained causing the bathroom full of water. Overall, I'm satisfied with the accommodation.

The room was wonderfully clean and spacious with good views through the two windows. It is in a new part of town and most of the shops are still being built so there were no bars and very few restaurants. One drawback was there was no fridge otherwise it was worth the money.

We had a most wonderful stay in XiAn thanks to the wonderful host. Help us with transport arrangements and took us around the city for a day and send us to airport at very reasonable rate. Highly recommended for one who want an easy and relaxing time in XiAn.
