Amazing place! They were so polite and helpful, I got lucky to stay in a big room and ended up extending it for a whole week. They clean the room every day, provide iron what was very important for me. Quiet place just in the city center. Will be back to Shanghai soon and will book Fish Inn 100% again

The receptionists were all helpful to us. They can understand and speak English. A Family Mart and restaurants are 2 blocks away from the hotel. Recommended place to stay. They provide bottled water and has wifi. They always provide clean towels everyday. Thank you Fish Inn Bund! :)

Value, Service and English Speaking Staff”
It was very easy to work with all the staff at Fish Inn. Mia is exceptional and goes the extra mile. As an English speaking foreign traveler, this makes things go smooth. I had a unique situation all staff supported me. This is much appreciated. I had a reservation for a queen room and was placed in a very small room for a few nights than moved into a queen room. Do be sure to get the queen room at minimum.

Nice place to stay”
My daughter and I stayed at the Fish Inn Bund from Christmas through New Years. The location was great even if the street isn’t attractive. We were a short walk to two Metro stations, malls, lots of food and the Bund. The room was comfortable, the walls were thin, and sometimes our neighbors were noisy. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone who doesn’t need to stay at The Ritz.

Bad hotel ”
The receptionist is rude and not respectful, and can’t understand exception situations of the guests. Noise from outside of the rooms because the hotel is located under the subway so the room is shivering while the subway is passing, no combs, the reception is freaking cold. Not very clean. Bad experience

A great stay”
My wife and I stayed here for one night at the beginning of August 2017. We were coming into Shanghai on a transit visa for just one night, so we were looking for something affordable that is close to the Bund but it better than a hostel. The Shanghai Fish Inn Bund was a perfect choice. While we booked a mini double room, we were upgraded upon arrival to a much larger room free-of-charge (though we were told that if we stayed longer than one night, we'd have to go to the smaller room). We really appreciated the upgrade, and that room was huge and very comfortable. The location is fantastic, as it's very close to E. Nanjing Road subway station and is a short walk to the Bund. It's also just a couple blocks away from Yang's Dumplings, which is a great place for breakfast. Anyways, if I ever find myself in Shanghai again, I'll surely book with Fish Inn again.

Our stay at Fish Inn Bund in December was an enjoyable one.Good location(the hotel is at the left corner the street leading to Nanpu Bridge-so watch out for the red neon lights saying Fish Inn on top of the building if you are taking the taxi)but might be tricky to find at first.The East Nanjing metro is only less than 10mins walk away. The staff is friendly,soft spoken,knowledgable and polite.We only booked 2 standard rooms for 3nights but they upgraded one of the rooms to a bigger deluxe room with a balcony free of charge!The hotel staff recommended some great and clean places for delicious but cheap dumplings and dinner that a tourist wouldn't know to go. Most of the sighseeing places are within walking distance. For instance, Nanjing lu(15mins), Yuyuan garden(25-30mins) and the Bund (20-30mins)Hotel is pretty clean and in good condition.Rooms has a nice oriental theme decorations but modern furnishings.Beds are comfortable and bathroom has a proper wall instead of those tinted glass walls.Overall,we enjoyed our stay and it was worth every penny we paid for.

I would like to thank the reception staffs of Shanghai Fish inn bund for their excellent service provided during my 3 nights stay. They are really helpfull and friendly which you cant find in other hotels in China..As for the room , the bed is soft and big . The bathroom shower is difficult to adjust the hot/cold temperature and the water pressure is low.overall, this hotel is value for money as it is near to the bund and the metro station..i would stay in this hotel again for my next trip to shanghai.

Fantastic Accomodation”
The Shanghai Fish Inn Bund provided us with an ideal base for sightseeing in Shanghai, it was within 10 minutes walk from the subway system which gave superb access to the main railway station and both of the airports. The reception staff spoke good English and were extremely knowledgeable and gave us good advise for seeing the fantastic city. We booked a suite through Agoda - the room was superb and such good value for money. We did not eat in the hotel, although we had numerous coffees in the reception area while using the computers. - the wifi signal was very good in the room. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai.
