We started our honeymoon in Thailand and stayed at the Shanghai Mansion Hotel. We had a lovely stay! The room was clean, spacious and had all the amenities we required. We were offered a complimentary Thai massage and afternoon dim sum high tea which were both superb. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in China Town with lots of places around with delicious foods to try. Despite being in the hustle and bustle of China Town you really could not tell in the room. There was no outside noise and there were no disruptions. We paid extra one morning for the buffet breakfast. There was plenty to choose room and we both thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts. I'd highly reccomend to anyone looking to stay in Bangkok and I would gladly come back to stay again!

Amazing”
This hotel is unbelievable. I can't recommend it more. The design of the whole place is very unique. The room is unique, clean luxurious. The staff are very helpful. There's a great bar on the first floor and nice restaurant on the 2nd floor. Outside the hotel, the street food and atmosphere in Chinatown is incredible. I'd highly recommend staying here. I only stayed here on my last night in Bangkok. I wish I had booked more nights here!

Lovely Staff, Beautiful Hotel”
The staff was gracious and so helpful! We got in at 2AM and there was still someone at the front desk to check us in, give us some welcome tea, and take our bags to our room. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was nice and quiet. Steps out the door of the hotel was exciting Chinatown! Loved our introduction to Bangkok through this hotel

Great location (delicious street food is steps away, near train/ metro station), wonderful staff (helpful and always smiling), clean/beautifully decorated room (perfect for a siesta/ break from your day)! Most beautiful and thoughtfully provisioned hotel I have stayed in in this price range”
Stylishly provisioned rooms with lots of thoughtful touches - loved the huge bed and bath tub, big rooms and lush Chinese decorations. Free massage and high tea thrown in for good measure, excellent breakfast, lovely staff, great bar and 5 min walk to MRT, - a quiet relaxing oasis in the middle of bustling China Town. Highly recommended!

Great Hotel experience”
The hotel was the high point of our time in Bangkok. Our booking was with free breakfast and it is by far and by any measure the best breakfast service of any hotel I have visited anywhere in the world. The rooms are quaint and beautiful, the AC powerful, the staff very engaged and friendly. We used their massage services on New Year's Eve and it was first class. This was my favorite hotel experience in memory, was a great value, great location for visiting the city, and a terrific place to unwind after a hot day touring the city.

In the Heart of Chinatown”
This fancy little hotel is located in the middle of Chinatown. Location is absolutely great because it’s in the middle of the night market where there’s lots of street eats and great restaurants minutes away. Shanghai Mansion is also not very far from any amenities, the mall, Khao San Road and the temples are not very far and within a 10 minute driving distance. The hotel itself is beautiful and has a nice ambience. There’s also free snacks available and the aesthetics of this hotel is by far breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

Amazing hotel in the heart of China Town”
In the centre of the hustle and bustle of Yarowat Road Shanghai Mansion offer relief - beautiful old building with beautiful features. Nice facilities in the room including free standing tub. Great restaurant in the hotel - Red Rose. Staff all very attentive and lovely. We loved our stay!

Wonderful experience! The staff provided amazing service and hospitality from the moment we checked in until we left. The cold scented towel and beverage upon check in were a great touch as the city was pretty humid during our stay. The staff really made us feel special as we celebrated our honeymoon.

I’ve lived in Bangkok for a couple of years and this is my weekend get away retreat. I’ve been at least 4 times and recommend it to everyone. Fantastic rooms, spa, food and staff. Particularly Ruby in the bar/restaurant - she could not be more polite or helpful. Just fantastic.

I had a good night peaceful sleep. Is really quiet in the night. Every where look so great in the hotel. But for those with car needs to park in Honda center for 250 baht a night, and a 5mins walk to the hotel. Love it.
