It was a very beautiful hotel, and the room was spacious, so I was very satisfied. I was able to check in significantly earlier than usual. However, despite reserving a river view, there was no room available, so I was switched to a city view. The location is inconvenient as both the station and bus stop are far away, so you either have to be prepared to walk a lot or use a taxi (DiDi) each time. “Affordable hotel, slightly regrettable location.”
I arrived around 3 PM, and the reception staff communicated well, so I was able to check in without any issues. (It is recommended to pay in local currency if using a DCC card.) The room is in very good condition. It is spacious enough for three people, and the bathroom was clean with both a bathtub and a shower. The breakfast buffet is delicious and has a wide variety. “The location is a bit tricky, but it's clean and nice.”
Major travel destinations in Shanghai include Nanjing East Road and the Bund. It's quite a distance (about 20 minutes by taxi). The subway is also a fair distance away. - There is a shuttle bus operating to the nearby station, but I haven't used it. The only positive point is that it's located in a quiet area and is close to a DaRunFa supermarket. Other than that, it's not a great location if you plan to mainly use the subway. I didn't have much inconvenience since I used a taxi every day. The facilities are clean and spacious, making it a good hotel for the price. + I recommend bringing a showerhead filter.
