The hotel had great style and was very tidy and comfortable, this goes for the facilities and the room. My room had a nice view mountain and sea view (partial sea view room) and it was amazing. The room was also big enough for two, it was nice, clean, and pretty. The facilities had a game room (PS4 and switch), amazing laundry room and an ok gym. Plus the lobby had nice tables to just sit and be on your laptop. There's a bunch of buses just outside the hotel (a 2 minute walk), which will take you to HKU (20min), causeway bay (1h), and pretty much everywhere really - no MTR though, but it wasn't a big deal since there were so many buses. My girlfriend said the area (Aberdeen) didn't feel as safe as other parts of HK, but by the end of the stay it grew on her a bit more (during the day it was fine for her, only at night she didn't feel 100%). As a guy, I thought it was fine. There's a circle K, 711 and McDonald's just outside the hotel (2min walk). Aberdeen is a very nice area to go for a walk and visit. There's lots of local shops, some malls, restaurants chains. There's also a fish market and ferrys to some islands you can visit. Overall, 5 stars and I will likely stay there again next time I go to HK.
My husband and I were very satisfied with South Nest. We wanted to stay in an area far from the busy crowds and found that Aberdeen was a good place. Not too far from Central that it'd be too tiring to commute, but not too near either that there are so many people! South Nest offered so much more than we expected considering their price. They are inexpensive so we didnt really expect much, but to our surprise, it was pretty good! Place was clean, smelled good, staff were friendly, finishing was modern and classy, beds and pillows were comfy, kitchen was well-equipped. They also have a very small gym if you want to squeeze in a little workout, a laundry room, and a common dining/workspace area. The location is convenient since it is along the main road with multiple bus stops, and there are a bunch of restaurants/convenience stores nearby. A few cons for me: You can kinda hear people outside your room when they pass by/talk/close their doors, so if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs! Also they seem to have a tie-up with a huge tour group, and they normally arrive at night and crowd the whole lobby. I've come across different groups and they are always so loud! Thankfully we didn't stay on the same floor as them! Despite the cons, I am happy with my stay here and would choose South Nest again when I visit HK.

Location wise: near to numerous bus stops. But there's no near LRT station. So depends on your needs. Convinience wise: many stores, convinience store near; there's also many small restaurants and food stores nearby. But there's no big malls nearby. Cleanliness wise: clean and neat. I like that you can refill your water bottles indefinitely in the pantry, but the pantry itself is not that perfectly clean. Room itself: spacious enough considering the price. I like the mountain view also. During our stay, although there's construction nearby, there's no noice pollution, very quiet. I was able to really rest well.
During the May Day holiday, a trip to the ocean park was suddenly added to my itinerary, so I chose to stay here for one night at a pleasant price. Firstly, I should clarify that the ocean view room is a semi-ocean view room (the description varies by platform). I'm not sure how this is defined, but the room is located on the 20+ floor and is still partially blocked by the buildings in front, allowing for some views of the sea, but not a complete view. This place is about a 20-30 minute bus ride from the ocean park, with a bus stop directly downstairs for easy access. It was quite convenient for me and my friend. The decor of this place is primarily light green, which looks very simple and aesthetically pleasing. The lobby has public tables and chairs, and it is very quiet, making it a good spot for reading, studying, or working. Additionally, there is a public kitchen, bathroom, gym, and laundry room (the washing machine and dryer in the laundry room are self-service and require an additional fee). The room is generally in line with the pictures but is slightly smaller than expected. The bed protrudes a bit into the pathway, but it doesn't significantly impact movement (I booked a double bed). The TV and toilet in the room are both new and clean, the air conditioning works well, and there are provided amenities like a hairdryer, small refrigerator, and safe. Overall, this is a highly recommended place: clean, simply decorated yet visually appealing, and with very friendly staff who are attentive in guiding luggage storage and check-in. These factors make me wholeheartedly recommend this place.

<STAY FEE> Considering Hong Kong is said to have relatively high accommodation prices, this is a reassuring price that is neither too cheap nor too expensive. You have to prepare accommodation tax and the deposit (HKD 500), which will be returned when you check out if preserved carefully. I think this place offers great value for money in Hong Kong; above all, I felt that the actual facilities provided a good balance as they are not too cheap and not too expensive. Amenities are not included, nightwear is essential, and items like toothbrushes can be purchased from a vending machine. Note that you need to pay accommodation tax and a deposit. Make sure to prepare a HKD 500 bill (about 10,000 yen); you will sign a deposit agreement, and that will serve as proof of return. When paying any fees at the front desk, be cautious as they do not accept JCB credit cards. While I managed to make a payment at the terminal, I was called later by the front desk to inform me they could not process it, and a cancellation was made, requiring me to pay again with another brand like MasterCard. <LOCATION> When you look at the map, you may feel it's inconvenient due to the distance from downtown areas like Central, Kowloon, or the Airport, but that's not the case at all. City buses to downtown operate frequently from early morning until midnight with various routes, and there are many bus stops near the hotel. You can find convenience stores, supermarkets, and McDonald's around the hotel. I feel it is a good location for quietness since it is not noisy around the hotel; I don't mind that it takes more than 20 minutes by bus to get to downtown. You may think it looks inconvenient on the map, but it was more convenient than I thought. There are several bus stops around, which means there are many routes directly connecting to various bustling areas. It takes 20 to 30 minutes, but I definitely think it's better to sleep here in a quieter location than in the busy downtown area. Circle K, a supermarket (which sells foreign goods including Japanese products like KALDI), and McDonald's are all within short distance, so buying things is not a problem. The MTR subway station is easily accessible by bus to Wong Chuk Hang, or a short walk to take a ferry to Lee Tung station, and in reality, buses come frequently so you might not even need to use them. <CLEANLINESS> The rooms, beds, toilets, and showers are very clean. Towels and bed linens are changed every day if you stay multiple nights. *You can choose not to change the bed linens. It is very clean; even a meticulous Japanese person would have no complaints. Given the difference in living costs, when considering staying at a business hotel similar to Toyoko Inn in Japan or Korea, the price is reasonable, and like in Hong Kong high-rises (I was on the 25th floor this time), the water pressure in the shower is a bit weak, but I think this place fits very well in Hong Kong as there are no mid-range Japanese hotel chains. <STAFF> They are very kind and respond to various questions. They are kind and answered a variety of questions, including where to buy chopsticks when I returned after buying a bento from the supermarket and found I had none. <SERVICES> You can find vending machines for drinks and snacks, laundry facilities, and other amenities. If you use the laundry, be aware there are only three washing machines and three dryers, and payment is only accepted via Octopus.
