Amazing ”

I enjoyed my days staying in Sugar Palm Residence. The junior suite is so spacious, which is bigger than I expected. I found out that there are no so many guests using the huge swimming pool, and sometimes I could use it just myself alone which is totally amazing. However, the location is bad and on my first day the taxi driver couldn't find the way here. It is 2km away from the Phuket local bus station so the last day I ended up getting a taxi from the staffs and it cost me ฿800 all the way to airport. It was ridiculously expensive but I had no choice since i was traveling alone

Sugar Palm Residence is a cosy and clean accommodation that best for a weekend gateaways. It is within walking distance to weekend market and Phuket old town (approx 20 minutes).

Quality stay in Phuket town ”

My stay at sugar Palm was fab! The pool which was never over crowded and always clean was great. The room was gorgeous, we booked a junior suite, on arrival we were upgraded to a deluxe suite for nothing!? Also on 2 occasions we went to reception seeking advice about where to go and how to get to certain places! Wim was such a gentleman and took us to wherever we needed to go free of charge and offered great advice! Fab staff, fab stay and would definitely recommend. Well done sugar Palm! 10/10!

Affordable, Spacious and Stylish ”

our stay at Sugar Palm Residence is excellent. The Junior Suite is spacious. The bed is very cozy. Staffs are friendly. Hotel's facilities are the plus features. We love this place and will stay here again!

Very comfortable like home!”

I stayed Junior suite for just one night.But I wish I could be there for some more nights! The room has living+kitchen, 1 queen size bed room and bathroom, it is quite enough space for 1 or 2 person. I don't know why but I almost forgot I was staying at a "hotel room", I felt like I have just moved in "new my room". Everything is new, so very comfortable! I appreciated individual 2 air-cons which avoided freezing night, also day. Swimming pool was also very nice. It was not only dip my body for cooling down (the water was very fresh and cool) but also it has enough length for swimming. This residence provides small breakfast at next to the reception. You can have some toasts, fruits, cerial or thai style breakfast with coffee or tea. The street which this residence is located is quite interesting. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to explore around the residence, I found many local fruits shops, local food restaurants, cafe, seafood restaurants, pizza delivery (in case when you got sick with Thai food), super markets and seven eleven. I think it is good surrounding if considering to stay here for long period.

The location is good. It's in the heart of Phuket city but it away from the busy feeling of Phuket, The staffs are calm and nice. The place is fantastic even they don't allow you to cook (The room has open plan kitchen, but not allow to use, so it's a bit irritate, when you see it's in the room but you can't use it) Good finishing, clean and clear environment. I must say that within the rate I got, think it's wonderful. For those who doesn't have your own internet access may not like it as they do not have free wifi in room (only at the lobby)

Good! ”

We stayed 2 night here. Easy to go every part of Phuket by our own car. Breakfast is included. It was ok but you only can choose coffee or Juice, can not have both but coffee you can ask for one more cup. Room was good, Big enough with all facilities you need as Warm Shower, Fridge, hair dryer & kettle. For second night. We hang our towels (as the sign says) which means we didn't want to change but the cleaner have changed it anyway. So no point with the sign. Overall it was good will stay again for our next trip to Phuket.

The staff was the best -VERY great customer service! Location very close to downtown Phuket, and the price of the room was very affordable! The outdoor pool and fitnes center was brand new & super nice!

Nice room in phuket town”

The residence is just a condominium ith breakfast and room quite large as we got free upgrade to a bigger room like 60 sqm. There are kitchenette, living room, bedroom, shower with walkin closet. Breakfast buffet is enough variety to eat. Good to have car for this place in phuket town, it just the same road with Chaofah variety weekend night market.

very good staff,nice and new hotel, super valuable,like a home, near market and phuket town, very good view with 2 lakes, swimming pool is very nice with massage, safety with security card , room with kitchen for cooking, a good hotel that i will come again

Great rooms, pool only in sun after 3pm”

Cannot fault the apartments for cleanliness, beds firm as always in Thailand, but after roughing it on the islands Cotton sheets and big fluffy towels felt like a luxury. Location is walking distance to old town or get a taxi, 300 baht when booked through reception desk. When we flagged one in town to come back late evening it was 200, which is still a high price considering short distance. We had already booked a taxi to the airport the next day, when he arrived he gave the receptionist 200 baht. So do not book taxi with reception, they are overcharging (charged is 800) . Walk on street and find taxi and get quote direct from driver, it will be cheaper. That said, rooms are nice and spacious (apartments) and clean. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. Pool is lovely and would be fine if you want to use it after a day's sightseeing but no sun on it until late afternoon. Would stay there again.

Beautiful, comfortable and spacious apartments”

Stayed one night as a stop over before heading to Phi Phi and was just the relaxing stay I needed after a crazy week in Bangkok. If you want peace and quiet, good conditions, comfortable stay and some relaxation...you will get it here. Check in and check out was easy, staff were friendly and helpful in callin for a taxi and answering any questions I had. There isnt much around and you need a taxi into town at night. Bring food with you if you dont want to leave the complex. No convenience stores nearby. No food or drink available either except breakfast which was simple but nice. I had a balcony room overlooking the pool and capturing the sunset which was nice. The wifi onl works at the pool or in lobby so a bit annoying if you just want to chill in your room. I was lucky at times to capture some wifi from my room given its proximity to the pool so try to get one of these rooms. Overall, i had a lovely stay and would stay there again if i needed to do an overnight close to rassada pier.

Nice place, apartment style hotel. ”

Good facilities- large pool, nice gym area. Clean and friendly stuff. Location was quit near to phuket old town (10min walk). Large natural park was next to hotel, where is possible to walk,run and cycle.

Love this place so much”

The room is spacious with living room and bedroom separated (There is a small kitchen area in the living room but no cooking utensils so it is useless for us). All the things there are nice - room is clean, staff are friendly, swimming pool is wonderful, and parking area is good. The hotel is located very near to weekend night market and walking street, where you can go there by walk if nothing to do at night. Only the breakfast needs improvement - few choices and could be more tasty. It is worthy staying there with this reasonable price.

NO WI-FI, POOR BREAKFAST”

The location of the Sugar Palm was very good, set back off a main road so there was no noise. Need a security card to access the building. It seems to be run like a private apartment building, The bed was a bit firm, the lounge settee's are uncomfortable so we used the outdoor plastic chairs. The breakfast was pitiful. I would just say skip it. Wi-Fi is only available in reception.

Luxury stay ”

Loved this hotel - absolute luxury for bargain price! Will benefit from restaurant when that's built but breakfast is fine. Location about 30 mins from Patong and the western beaches - we shelled out a lot on taxis - but was always a pleasure coming back! 5 mins from the old town which is beautiful and quiet contrast to Bangla rd! Great staff, room v clean with tea and coffee and water every day. Fab pool and gym. Great location for phi phi boat trips as near the pier for pick up. Down the road from great weekend market. Would recommend if you don't mind the travel costs!

Nice relax condo”

Excellent stay at Sugar Palm, breakfast could be much better. Have to walk your way out of the condo and travel around as there's no motorcycle service nearby, would advise to rent a bike at the counter.

Very good”

Recommended to at least have a bike.. or better still a car to move on. You have a park with jogging tracks, accessible through the side gate. Would love to come back and stay here longer the next time. Its within reach to the Central malls too. However.. as non-residence it would be recommendable if the units are facilitise with at least basic eating utensils such as plates, bowls and cutleries such as knife, fork and spoon. Why bother putting a stove if we can't do some light cooking. The idea of us sourcing out for a residential place is for us to be able to cook our own meal at the comfort of our room. The unit i stayed, was too clean.. Not even a painting hung on the wall. No wall decorations at all in the room. You have a good place but lack mini details. And whose used toothbrush and comb was it left behind in the room? In general, this place would be on my list.. Would like to try the bigger rooms next time.
