🌅 3D2N Stay at Sunrise Chalet Marang, Terengganu – 4.5★ I recently spent 3 days and 2 nights at Sunrise Chalet in Marang, Terengganu, and it was a wonderful experience! If you’re looking for a relaxing beachfront escape, this place ticks almost all the boxes. What I Loved: ✅ Breathtaking Beachfront View – The view is absolutely the highlight! You can literally step out of your room and be greeted by the sound of waves and a stunning sunrise over the sea. It’s peaceful, quiet, and perfect for unwinding. ✅ Well-Maintained Facilities – The chalet is clean, cozy, and comes with all the basic necessities. The air conditioning works great, and the beds are comfortable. There’s also a BBQ area, parking, and outdoor seating to enjoy the sea breeze. ✅ Privacy & Ambience – The atmosphere is serene and family-friendly. Ideal for couples or small families wanting a quiet beach getaway. Room for Improvement: 🚫 No Public Toilet – One downside is that there are no public toilets available for visitors who aren’t staying at the chalet. This could be inconvenient for large gatherings or if you’re planning to have guests over. ⸻ Overall Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.5/5) Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful beachfront stay in Terengganu. With just a small upgrade like adding a public toilet, it would easily be a 5-star stay! Will definitely come back again.

“Not So Value for Money”
GOOD 🌅 can see sunrise 🏠 big chalet with 2 rooms, 1 living area, pantry and 1 bathroom. Rooms and living area with ceiling fans. There's hammock and wooden bench outside at the porch where u can relax and have drinks 🏝️ if u like quiet beach, this is the place. 🍚 near to eating places. Easily can find restaurants in the morning and at night 💤 comfortable bed and pillow NOT SO GOOD/ TO BE IMPROVED 🥵 the aircons has timer. The aircond can only be used from 7pm - 7am. Afternoon from 12pm onwards is very hot. Your mood to relax and chill all gone because of the heat. With the price we pay, we expect to use the aircond anytime we want. ❌ Cleanliness. The floor and wall is dusty and there's lizard poo at the side of the walls. Bed sheet, comforter and pillow case not sure if they washed it. A lot of stains. And some pillow got smell. Housekeeping better check properly before guest checks in. 🚰 water pressure at the pantry sink, toilet sink and 🚽pipe are low. Shower 🚿 water pressure not so low and and not so strong. Just ok. But the pipe under the shower is strong. Its good if can put 1 bucket pail there so can use to shower or wash the floor. There's also some smell at the toilet but that doesnt bother us that much. 🐜 there's small ants at the pantry. Overall, the stay was a bit disappointed for me especially with the aircond timer thing. My plan to relax and chill at my own comfortable way being disturbed by the afternoon heat. So if you like cold and the type of using aircond most of the time, this place is not so suitable for you.

“It's paradise but it won't hurt to spring clean. ”
I loved this place and my family surely loved it, . It was metres away from the sea and it was central and there were so many eateries nearby. The chalet itself was quite large and comfortable. The loft was our favourite and even though air conditioning switches on at 7p.m the cool sea breeze made up for it. just wish it was a little cleaner. The sliding door was full of fingerprints when we arrived and the sheets had multiple stains. The fan was dusty, the ceiling was dusty, the curtains had mildew . I just felt that it could be better cleaned before guests arrive. But overall, it was still a great experience and I would still come again. Just something they could improve on.

Pro - excellent beachfront location with not much crowd Cons - chalet not soundproof, small bathroom Host is very friendly and gave alot nearby food and travel recommendations. Overall quite a pleasant stay.

“Simple chalet with great beach access”
Very helpful host, simple room but all functional and clean, great beach with nice viewing tower. Many restaurants nearby. Only thing, be aware that there is a chicken coop in front (with a very vocal rooster! 😅)
