Wow! Exceeded expectations”
Let me start by saying that if you stay here you most definately will need some form of private transport (be it motor cycle or car). The main attraction of Sunshine Paradise for me was the location. It is on a very quiet and beautiful beach. Indeed to achieve this to access Sunshine Paradise you must drive along 500m of gravel track. We stayed in the Standard room block and the last two nights in a Garden Bungalow. Both rooms were clean and comfortable and in good condition. The Garden Bungalow was comparable to a room in a 5 star resort. The resort is new and there is still work being undertaken to complete some other rooms. I think the pricing of the rooms reflects this. When the construction is finished and the grounds are fully landscaped the room rates will double! It didn't disturb us - there was no noise. But you will be walking past a construction site from your room to the beach. The closest 7/11 is 6km away in Ban Krut. There is also a Tesco Lotus Express opening soon. There are "auntie and uncle" stores too on the way to Ban Krut selling drinks and snacks. Will return here again - it really is a fantastic part of Thailand!

A little paradise”
We were welcomed in such a kind and professional manner at the resort. Right from the start, it felt clear to us that the staff really cared about us and our well being. There are a lot of small details that made us feel special: complementary drinks, 2 complimentary water and soft drinks in the mini fridge, the kayaks that we could borrow, the ice cream and popcorn offered during happy hour, the staff rushed to help when my son scraped his toe. To be honest, we do not usually stay in luxury resorts like sunshine paradise. We have been travelling by bicycle for many months and our per diem budget is limited. Regardless, we extended our stay by one night because we all truly felt in paradise here. If you want to relax and enjoy a magnificent resort, this is the place.

Heaven!!”
What a fabulous resort, it really lives up to its name...sunshine paradise resort! We had a garden spa bath cottage which was comfortable, the infinity pool was lovely with views over the bay. Small but well equipped gym. Bicycles to use if you wish. The choice of food in the restaurant was good and the food tasty & good value. The staff are wonderful, couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We booked 3 nights but ended up staying 5 and would have been happy to stay longer had we had the time! The sandy bay is deserted! We walked for an hour in each direction without seeing anyone else. I would definitely come here again!

Best Beach Getaway!”
We loved this place! We have teen children,so they were able to stay in a Standard Room while my husband and I stayed in a cabin/bungalow. This worked well, and was much less expensive than renting a beach-front house. The resort is located at a moderate distance from the nearest town, and about 4- 1/2 hours south of BKK, so not as many people make the extra trip south from Hua Hin. Good news for us, since there were hardly any other people at the beach. Very clean rooms, excellent service. They were making some physical upgrades to the pool while we were there, but we were still able to use the pool accommodations. The beach-front houses look great, but it's only a short walk (2 minutes) from the Standard Rooms to the beach. If you want to "get away from it all" Sunshine Paradise Hotel is highly recommended.

Really good and clean resort! ”
We went to Sunshine Paradise Resort from 23/07/14 til 25/07/14 and had two rooms, one cottage and one pool villa. It was very clean and the style of the furniture is really modern and comfortable, our family had a very great stay. The beach is very clean and private. Also the resort is offering free cayak service, boats are new and maintained well. The hotel stuff was really nice and helpful. We will stay again there next year.

Utterly amazing!”
We spent 2 nights in the garden view cottages, and then one night in a standard room, and everything was beyond perfect! For the price you pay you won't find this type of luxury or relaxation anywhere. The pool and the grounds were stunning and kept in pristine condition. The simple yet elegant restaurant was delicious and we loved every meal. We had originally only planned to stay 2 nights in the cottage view rooms, which were gorgeously designed and very spacious, with your only deck and garden spaces, but we loved it there so much we booked another night in the standard rooms within the hotel building as there were no availability in the cottages for that night. The standard room was clean, cozy, and very affordable. We're heading off to Cambodia now, but will be returning in a couple of weeks, and we are planning to stay another full 2 weeks at Sunshine Paradise. highly recommended :)

Good Value, Nice Beach with Clear Water”
We stayed in two bungalows in the garden section of the resort. The rooms were very clean and well-appointed. We felt they were very good value for money. The resort is a bit out of the way and one really needs a car if one stays at Sunshine Paradise. The breakfast served is adequate, but most visitors will likely wish to have lunch and dinner at one of the small restaurants on the beach in the village of Ban Krut. The resort's kitchen closes at 8:30 as do most of the restaurants in the village, so if you are counting on an evening meal, go early. Ban Krut does not suffer from the hordes of tourists found at larger venues in Thailand, so it is a good getaway from the noise and hustle.

The Best We've Seen”
We had a wonderful stay at sunshine paradise, and even extended our stay by three days. The beach was beautiful, and quiet. Pool is great, Staff and owner are wonderful. Ta, the owner took the time to introduce himself to us, and took it upon himself to set up all further transportatiom for us. ( including driving us to a bus station 45 mins way, to catch a vip bus to Krabi that he booked for us) This hotel is quite far away from shops and restaurants. There are also many things to see that are not within walking distance. Having a vehicle would enhance your stay. kayak is free to use, and bicycles are free. Motorbike is 300 baht per day, and pick up/drop off at hotel. I believe this is possible with car rental as well.

A good break”
I had a good stay. I selected the hotel because of its situation and it lived up to my expectations. The hotel staff where very polite and helpful and are one of the best assets that the hotel has to offer. The food in the restaurant was superb and very reasonably priced. The restaurant staff were great. The very small amount of padding on the chairs did not encourage one to longer for a cup of coffee after the meal. The resort is marketed as a beach resort which it is not. It is a resort on a beach. The beach was perfect and during my stay I was the only person on the beach. Why? A beach resort needs chairs and umbrellas so that residents can spend time on the beach. Loungers were there but without cushions they did not encourage you to stay. A little shade is available under the tree but it is minimal. All over the resort the furniture has been designed by a sadist and purchased by a masochist. There is just no where comfortable to sit and relax with a book. The bean bags on the floor above the were perhaps the most comfortable but for an person of my years getting into them and out again was difficult and I only tried them once. The black, grey and white colour scheme is striking but on my fifth day it was become a bit depressing. Other than the colourful kayaks in the beach area the place is drab. It needs colourful cushions and umbrellas to break the austere look.

Nice family resort”
This resort was very quiet and had excellent beach and nice swimming facilities. The resort also had sea kayaks and other side trips. The staff was polite, helpful and did a good job. The breakfast was worth the 200 baht price and they served both western and Thai food for breakfast. The dinner was Thai food only and there were several local restaurants of good value and wider food selection. The road in front of the resort was under construction so it was dirty, dusty, extremely bumpy and unpaved. The road and lots in the resort were excellent. The train tracks ran on the other side of the road and several times a night the train passed. You could hear it go past but it only disturbed my sleep a single time when the operator blew the train whistle. No doubt it was a local not paying attention at the crossing about a kilometer away on the rural road. The only negative on the whole trip was that the bed mattress was very hard. The one in our second room was hard also.

still fantastic and better than before”
like this area for quiet clean unpolluted beaches great for swimming. since my previous visit they added a swimming pool/fitness, bar and rec room. also made some upgrades. very good English signage from Phetkasem highway. room big and spotless. WIFI ok, some English channels on sat tv, bed good, free drinks and free snacks in room. did not try the restaurant but 200B is expensive for breakfast. many places to eat and drink in nearby ban Krud, Tap Sakae or along the highway. enjoyed using the kayak and bicycles (included) this area is difficult without a car but its possible to arrive by 3rd class train stops 700m from hotel, or van stops at police station on highway about 8km away.. also can rent motorbikes here. still my fav anywhere between Hua hin and Chumpon.

Thunderstruck....”
I became worried when the road leading to the resort wasn't even paved! But what a surprise when I saw how airy the resort was spaced, with the inviting sea just beyond its premises. The staff was accommodating and took pains to explain the features of the room. They were helpful and polite. The room was well-designed and spacious. But I do not understand why they couldn't accommodate an extra bed, given its spacious interior. It comes with free mini-bar, although the choices were limited. The bathtub even had a in-built jacuzzi. The pool behind the room has a beautiful view of the sea and the sea breeze was wonderful. It was beautiful to be able to lounge there and enjoy your private view of the beach. The resort restaurant serves cheap and wonderful food. However, it closes at 2000 hrs, which I thought was too early. You would need your own private vehicle to access this resort. It's a good thing cause it does make the resort quite exclusive.

Valued Vacation ”
Took a vacation alone to recalibrate and relax. I wasn’t in the mood for a bait and switch game on the room I ordered. However, upon arrival the “ocean view” driveway leading the reservation desk was a very good indication of what I should exspect of my room. The staff spoke and check in was so easy,it took less than three minutes. I was escorted to my ocean front villa with it’s private pool. I was blown away about several things prior to arriving to my villa. First, it was extremely quiet and it felt like I was the only person at the resort. Second the staff were busy quietly cleaning the entire resort. Although I am a germaphobe, this was probably the first time I went barefoot in a hotel.it was extremely clean. The climate at the end of May was perfect because of the clouds. Honestly, the restaurant was weak at best. For good food go to the main road turn left keep strait to sereral great beach side family restaurants. I love this place.and I will be returning.

Nice Resort to Chill Out, Relax and to REFRESH !!!”
The resort consider quite far driving from Bangkok, but overall this is great place to relax for vacation with your family. We (family) booked for Two Bedroom Pool Villa, which the villa is consider big comparing to villas at other resorts we used to visit. Inside our villa is very big with a good facilities. In the future if we have any chance, we will surely choose to visit and stay here. This is a perfect and quite place to chill out, relax and refresh your holiday!

Beautiful resort on quiet beach”
This resort is located on a quiet, isolated beach about 5km from town. If you are looking for peace and quiet on a beautiful beach and not much else, this hotel is perfect for you. The room was good sized and very clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. Free bikes and kayaks helped pass the time. The restaurant had very good food, albeit a bit pricey. Cheaper food options in the area were at least 5km from the resort. If you are travelling by public transportation it is not ideal, but there is a small train station (kok ta hom) about 750 meters away. The internet was not the greatest, but acceptable.

Excellent”
Stayed in a One Bedroom Villa.......excellent location on the beach with clean pool. Cannot fault the accommodation and service to the Villa. Perfect for escaping those overcrowded Thai beach resorts. You definitely need a car. We drove from Bangkok, an easy drive. Restaurant disappointing considering the isolation of the resort. I suggest you stock up on all your requirements before you arrive.

Quiet, new, friends staff, away from the crowd”
The place is new and it's build in the new modern style hotel / apartment way. The manager and all the staff is friendly. The complex has a lot of room to move around and be on your own. The pool is great even it's not the greatest. A little fitnesscenter is there too. The served food is Thai good, average priced but the portions are rather small. The garden bungalows are great and do have a lot to offer (for the electronic junkies). It's clean but the water from the shower doesn't flush away (as it should be) and sometimes you get a smell from the toilet (this would be my point if you ask me for one :(). There isn't a lot in the nearby area so organize your transport in advance. The rooms in the small hotel building are great for the price, specially as you can use and do whatever the renters of the bungalows can do. The one difference is that you will hear the train more than if you would stay in a bungalow.
