An oasis run by friendly caring people”
we have been travelling in thailand for 2 months and lychee garden bungalows is by far the best place we have stayed. the cottages are extremely clean, they are cleaned each day. oh and the bed is so so comfortable, best bed we have slept in in thailand. the owners karni and rid are so friendly and welcoming, willing to help with any question or request. the garden is like a little oasis where you can relax and enjoy the moment. it is a little bit out of town, but that is no issue if you hire a scooter ... only a 5 minute ride into town and it gives you more freedom to see surrounding pai. the breakfast and dinner we ate there was very tasty. lychee was like a home away from home. we will definitely be returning to lychee.

staying at lychee garden bungalow was one of the best stays during our travels! karni and rid go out of their ways to ensure the comfort of their guests; if you ever experienced personal attentive service, i guarantee that they top that! the bungalow was squeaky clean, and cleaned every day. the room's amenities - tv, hot shower, ac, and comfortable bed really made our stay fantastic. breakfast is available every day, and dinner upon request. karni explained everything about pai, while rid showed us around, you couldn't ask for more from these lovely people. we felt like we were coming home each time we returned to the resort. if you want to be pampered and really cared for, stay here and you will never want to leave! thank you guys.

A very special place, worth staying at”
We stayed here as a couple. We didn't do any hotel research before coming to Pai so as soon as we got ahold of Internet in Pai we came across the Lychee Garden and decided to take a chance and book the deal. We got lucky that we stumbled upon this special place. Great location, just a five minute bike ride to the center (which you will need to rent a bike to get around Pai either way). The staff was very helpful and generous with anything from advice about Pai to giving us a lift to the center to rent a bike. The bungalows are clean and well- maintained, our only issue was that the room was a bit small for us. The garden is lovely and there are plenty of hammocks for relaxing. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. Recommended

Scenic location with smart, clean bungalows”
We were so pleased with our stay here. It's a bit outside of the city (25 minutes walking or 5 minutes by motorbike), but that didn't really detract from our experience. We rented motorbikes to get around (essentially a requirement for seeing Pai - the owners even gave us driving lessons!) and the fabulous owners of the hotel took us to and from town whenever we needed. The bungalows are clean, bright and comfortable. We were more than satisfied. The garden area is great, we enjoyed our breakfast there and spent some time reading in the hammocks. Wifi can only be accessed out in the garden and it wasn't 100% reliable, but enough for us to check email. There is a small store across the road which was convenient for buying snacks and beers. When we arrived, the owner gave us a detailed map as lots of suggestions for what to see and do and where to eat. SO helpful! This place is a great find.

Great natural garden.”
Great hotel for couples. 4 bungalows in a relaxing garden. Rooms are bit small but very clean and got everything you need (kettle, TV, hot shower...). If you are looking for a quiet place in Pai I suggest this hotel. It's 1-2 km out of the center and you need to rent a motorbike (you can rent from Lychee Garden) but you need to rent motorbike any way if you want to get around Pai. Super fast wi-fi. Very nice hosts.

Lovely owner, beautiful quiet location”
This was easily one of my most favorite bungalows in Asia. A sence of home, and love from the owner. I wish we would of had a week in Pai ! the owner helped us plan our short stay mapped everything out for us and gave us lots of options. Even told us where to eat, and her recommendations did not disappoint ! The location is not as far as I expected, a lovely walk, or short ride. The property is so pretty! Lychee trees and swings, hammocks, orchids and friendly dogs. Felt like home away from home best sleep I've had in a long time!

A little hidden gem in Pai”
the bungalows are so amazing - with aircon, tv, wifi and showers, all modern furnishings. the lychee garden is a fantastic secluded spot - with rope swings and communal chairs and tables. the staff are so friendly, running across the shop to get us beers on arrival and cooking up a barbecue for us one evening. the accommodation is a little way from the main centre but rici drove us into town upon request in the evening and even stayed in the bar to take us home when we were ready to leave! can't speak highly enough of this place - it's fantastic!

Lovely peaceful bungalows in the countryside”
I can't recommend this place enough, karni and rid make you instantly welcome and gave us loads of useful information about pai. The bungalows are 2km out of the centre it is possible to walk but I recommend hiring a scooter to be able to explore the surrounding areas, we were given a lift in to the centre to hire our scooter free of charge. The bungalows are very clean and contain everything you need, there are only 4 so it feels really secluded in the beautiful garden. The owners live on site and it has a homestay feel with hotel service.

Attentive service, beautiful natural surroundings”
we recommend this place to anyone going to pai for an amazing and real experience. it is located just outside of town, easily reached by walk, bike or motorbike; such a nice countryside location, quiet and with a lovely garden. everything was comfortable, delicious and lovely. we enjoyed spending time with the owners, karni and rid, and felt very much cared for. there are only 4 bungalows, so there is a real family feeling.

It's my first time to thailand and feel lucky I have added PAI to the plan.Lychee garden bungalow is a beautiful place which we were staying at PAI,the most impressive thing is garden host, a husband and a wife. They provide not only service but also heart to us, make me feel so warm. Quite vacation bungalow ”
Good value bungalow with friendly and attentive staff and owner Vis. The location is quite in the local suburbs but close enough to the town center to grab anything you need. This is our second time staying at Lychee Garden and we're looking forward to staying here again on our next visit. Thanks again Vis.

fairly relaxing”
Overall my stay at his hotel was relaxed and somewhat fun. The owners are an Isreali woman and her Thai husband. They both were very friendly and welcoming, taking time to show me where the sights are on a map, offering to rent me a scooter at a slightly higher price than I could find it in town (50Bhatt more per day), etc. It felt like staying with a family more than staying at a hotel, until my last day when she presented an unexpected bill. But I will get back to that. The Thai husband would often times plug his guitar or an IPAD into an amp that was pretty loud, too. Several mornings a strange recording with Thai music and someone talking in Thai would go off nearby, starting at around 6:30 in the morning. By the last time it went off it was around 4:45AM and every dog in the neighborhood began to howl along with it. On my first morning I was offered breakfast with tea or coffee. Each additional morning I was offered a cup of tea, just how I liked it. Another day I was invited for a BBQ dinner. Not once was I told that I would be charged for all of it, nor what the charge would be. When I was checking out I was presented with a bill for over 500 Bhatt, just over $16.00 for the breakfast, the tea, and the dinner. I was charged for each tea bag and (I can't remember the actual amount) but over $7.00 for the mediocre half BBQ chicken dinner. In retrospect I find this appalling. The owner explained that she pays for it all and thus has to charge for it. I easily could have gone into town and had a luxurious 5 course gourmet meal for what I paid for the burnt chicken dinner, and tea should have been thrown in with the exorbitant nightly fee. Pai is full of bungalow hotels, many of which start around 200 Bhatt for a fan or 400 for air conditioning, and are in town or at least closer.

Super friendly, and quant bungalow ”
our stay here was really nice for new years. the meet us in town to show us where we were which was defiantly necessary as it is a few kilo out of town. the room was very nice, firm bed (as in most thai stays) the owners were very nice giving us advice on where to eat waterfalls to see, & nightlife. only concern would be of you did not have any transport.
