We wanted an accommodation that was near the beach and close to Bangla road. We did not want to stay right on Bangla road because of the noise so this location was perfect. The facility was great, we had room cleaning with new water bottles everyday. We loved the pool and our balcony. The Filipino receptionist was super nice and gave helpful advice ☺️

Clean room but noisy”
The room is nice and clean, with great location to the beach, food and bars. As the hotel is right next to a busy traffic intersection, the noise from the traffic can get to you if you are a light sleeper. Not a place if you want to rest due to the traffic noise but great for a day or two to check out the area.

Cheap But Dirty ”
The location is great, the price was cheap and the staff are multilingual. On the other hand it’s a dirty hotel, particularly the linens, towels, curtains. The staff are not friendly, efficient, nor competent. Overall, it’s an okay place to stay if you want a cheap place and don’t mind it dirty. I wouldn’t stay again though.

Pros - not too far from Patong beach and Bangla Rd. Great pillows. Negatives - extremely noisy location (I was on 4th floor). Mattress was like cardboard, very uncomfortable. Lock not working on patio door and room door had a simple lock, I did not feel safe there. Photos on Agoda are misleading, room has had a very cheap make over. Pool on top floor looked dirty and was approx 3m by 3m.. Breakfast is very minimal (although coffee was good).

Very disappointed and outdated hotel ”
Album The hotel is off a busy street. Can be noisy middle of the night. Room is small, a little dirty, tv doesn’t work, fridge leaked, walls needs some work, breakfast was basic. Staff were ok. Keep to themselves. It’s recommended if you need a place to sleep. Better off going to a hostel. Would not return.

I have stayed at this hotel for 6 months I was very happy then the manager of this hotel had a thing about my potter who was staying there and they moved my potter to a different room like a cupboard ant this was for a two month stay but not stay here again the room is rubbish

the album hotel has really set the standard for a 3 star hotel. it had everything i looked for in a hotel without the fanciful facilities of 4 or 5 star hotels at a price to die for. the staff at album are genuinely friendly and readily offers their help. the frontdesk receptionist used her own mobile phone to help us contact the tour operator when the shuttle pick-up was 20mins late. another instance was when she helped us liaise with an agent to change our taxi pick-up time. the rooms are of decent size but the sleep quality was good. the room had all the basic amenities needed. my only gripe was that some tv channels were blur due to the signal quality. the bathroom is also well ventilated and i managed to dry my washed clothes just by hanging them in the toilet. the buffet breakfast does not provide a lot of options but is definitely more than reasonable considering the price paid. breads, spreads, cheese, cereals, coffee, yogurt and fruits provided me with enough options to get through 4 days. location wise, it is 5 mins to the beach and 10-15mins walk to the nightlife. there is also a convenience store (family mart) just across the hotel. i hope the album continues to maintain this standard. i will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to patong. kudos to the staff at album hotel for making my trip a very enjoyable one!

I am very impressed with the stay in The Album Hotel. I have been to Phuket Patong for more than 20 times over the years and have seen a tremendous drop of the service in Phuket.However, this trip to The Album Hotel is all well experienced. We were attend by Sor who speak very simple English but she is magnificent. There were some problem with our booking with Agoda and she patiently attended to us and resolved the whole problem. She is always smiling and greeted us warmly whenever we requested any help from her. The hotel design is very gipsy and modern. The room is spacious and very unique design. Clean and neatly set up eating area even though is not a big hotel.Only down side is during our 5 night stay in the hotel, 4 nights the lift at 1st floor lobby were down and we need to take our feet by the stair up to 2nd floor to catch the lift. The location is very convenient for those beach goer. Is only 5mins walking distance to the beach. The hotel provide a beach basket which include beach mat and towels which is another plus to us. There is whole day free serving of cookies, mixer drinks, cold water and milk in the fridge for us. We feel so pamper and relax staying here. Will definitely return again

The Album hotel is centrally located, as well as being within two blocks of the beach. There is a nearly unlimited amount of shopping, dining and nightlife within blocks of the hotel. The local people of Phuket are very friendly. The hotel can help arrange transportation to any destination, including the airport. The hotel is modern in design and is very well staffed and maintained. Patong Beach is highly developed, but remote beaches are not far away. There are ample restaurants that feature fresh seafood each day. I would highly recommend the Album Hotel, as well as Patong Beach.

Great boutique hotel in a convenient location”
I was there in mid-January 2010 during high season so many of the hotels were out of my price range. The Album came to around $84 Canadian per night which was a bit more than I intended to spend but compared to the hotel I stayed at down the street (which was dirty, old and smelly)for one night and I paid about $63 Canadian a night for that bad hotel. I think the Album is great value for money for the extra $21. It is located in a great location that's a close walk to the beach and nightlife. The hotel is designed with great modern touches. Concrete walls and floors, dark woods accenting the place. There are lots of cute old school toys that line the lobby. The lobby has a tiny patio and indoor eating area where you can get fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts, toast with margarine and jam, croissants, juices, coffee and tea during their complimentary breakfast. There's unlimited free bottled water for guests and fresh juices that you can pour yourself throughout the day. Also loved the little touches like providing a beach bag in your room that included a mat to lie on and free beach towels at the front desk. The rooms are very CLEAN and well designed. I'd say the mattress is one of the softer beds I've slept in but like most Asian beds, it's still on the firm side. There is also a small pool and deck on the rooftop if you're too lazy to take the 5 min walk to Patong Beach. And above all, the staff was so accommodating and friendly. I had to make a call to Agoda in Bangkok and one of them offered to make the call for free on their own mobile phone. Now that is beyond the call of duty. I would definitely book this place again.

The Album Hotel - Great bargain in the heart of th”
My family and I stayed 4 nights, June 9th - June 13th and enjoyed our stay very much. The Album hotel is a boutique hotel that's 5 min. from the beach or 5 min. to the shopping mall on foot, and walking street is only two blocks away. The room was a bit small but the comfy bed with high quality comforter, excellent AC, and large flat screen tv made up for that. The location is perfect, the staff are very nice and helpful. You get free bottled water, juice and a few choices for breakfast in the lobby. Also there is a small "plunge" pool on the roof and lounge chairs for sunning if you don't feel like going to the beach. I will definitely stay at the Album hotel on my next visit to Phuket.

Excellent - modern, comfortable, friendly staff!”
After escaping a beachfront hotel (avoid the beachfront - it is loud, touts are rude, old men are lewd, and the strip is utterly charmless), we stumbled across the album on Agoda. The Album is located in a comparatively quiet area of patong. The hotel itself is modern, the staff always greeted us with a smile, and there is a nice rooftop spa/pool that we could not use due to light rain, but in warmer weather would have been excellent. In addition to this, the hotel offers free tea, coffee, juice, water and biscuits - and the breakfast is great! A short walk to the beach and Bangla road - but far enough away to not keep you up all night.

The Album Hotel at Patong Beach in Phuket is a boutique hotel that is nicely located close enough to the nightlife. At the same time, it is far enough to be affordable for most travellers. Across the road are many street food stalls with lots of cheap and delicious food. Will stay here again if I am back in Patong Beach.

Good location, small but modern rooms”
A very enjoyable stay. The Album Hotel is very inconspicuous, located directly at the corner of two intersecting streets. The hotel itself is small, but very modern with appealing decoration. The booked room (classic) was a little minimalistic, but decorated in the same fashion as the rest of the hotel, and included all neccessities. Located about 80m from Patong Beach and around 200m from a large shopping mall, one can get around easily.
