Charming nostalgic vibe, great value!”
We stayed for two nights at Imperial Chiang Mai and absolutely enjoyed the experience. We loved the old-school and nostalgic atmosphere - and it is 100% authentic, not just surface decoration (The resort style reminds us of country clubs - elegant, quiet and charming). The garden is large and beautiful, the swimming pool is the biggest one I've seen in a long while. The double bed is extra large and comfy with beautiful view of the pool and trees. Very good price for all the amenities and room. Tips: book on weekdays to feel like this entire beautiful place is for you only.

Imperial Chiang Mai - good value for those looking to be very active”
Although the resort is relatively old and looks it, the Imperial Chiang Mai is great value. There is tennis, a gym and a beautiful 50 metre pool. Breakfast included plus a decent room gives one great value if you want to be very active. There are squash and badminton courts too! Using Grab made up for the location which is a bit out from the centre of Chiang Mai so there was no problem getting around. The resort is dated and needs better upkeep but we still found it very good value.

RELAXING THAI STYLE”
Great hotel if you want to relax and enjoy the impressive gardens and huge pool. Hotel lunch specials were reasonable and GRAB food deliveries for dinner worked well. Buffet breakfast was perfect. The shade of the large trees in the garden and around the pool kept the temperature much cooler than in the asphalt jungle and very very comfortable to sit outside and enjoy the breeze and pool. This place is reminiscent of old school Thai hotel/club, it emanates nostalgia.

Needs some TLC”
This hotel was clearly good in the past but Covid may have done it real damage. Rooms are of a good standard. The food was tasty but the meat they put in my curry was just fat and joints, literally the worst part of the chicken. They’re clearly trying to cut costs. The place is very quiet and with no restaurants nearby I was forced to order in everyday. Gym is damp and smells and hasn’t been updated for years. Pool is the only plus point and the staff are really nice, especially the cleaners. The hotel needs reinvestment, possibly refocusing on yoga getaways or something as it’s location outside the city really limits its options.

Nice hotel, a little bit out of Chiang Mai but great facilities. Lovely Staff. I had a flat battery on my bike and they gave me a jump start. Also breakfast was full continental, not like the hotels who say breakfast is included and you find it's just toast and coffee :)

A good Resort for outdoor sport activities, we enjoy beautiful standard size pool every morning, bike around the Resort. The bedroom are simple and little bit old. The bed is not much clean enough and the food quality is fair even low. Little bit away from old town, and call Grab is good to travel around country side and old town, very checo and fast to access. Not bad, can try for your first choice cos the daily price in Agoda is really worthy.

We really enjoyed 6 days for a rejuvenating and fun holiday. The sporting facilities were fantastic, staff always very helpful. The food is not great but not bad. The grounds are not good for walking and there is no view of the river. All in all, amazing value for money.

The only thing good is the staffs”
The location is about 15km to town/Airport. Quite inconvenient to commute if you don't have car as grab cannot find this location. The room really need to clean up properly. Our hot flask is infected with ants and the eggs. Room rate is expensive but the only plus point is the staffs are friendly.
