An excellent Shanghai hotel”
This is a fine suite hotel with very good accommodation, helpful and efficient staff, and a convenient location to explore most of the ‘must sees’ in Shanghai. On first arrival we were let down by not having a non-smoking’ suite available as we had booked however that was soon resolved and we extended our original booking as we were so pleased with the hotel overall. Whilst the building is quite new the immediate neighborhood is somewhat dilapidated – to some extent because of surrounding incomplete building works but then this applies to so much of Shanghai. Our ‘Comfort Studio’ was spacious, modern, comfortable and fully equipped for an extended stay including a washing machine. For what is offered the tariff is good value. Nanjing West metro station is 10 minute walk and the same distance brings countless dining options into range. Whilst there are a huge number of hotel choices in Shanghai, we are returning in the coming months and have already booked our stays at The One by Kempinski.

Nice experience for short stay in Shanghai”
We are the fans of Kempinski Group. Actually, the One executive suites is not the typical design of Kempinski, however, the hotel is warn and modern enough itself. Therefore, it is still the best choice if you are seeking home warmth for staying in Shanghai, specially recommended for mini kitchen and comfortablly bedding. Very nice location, that you can find 24 convenience store, restaurants, fruit shop , bakery and so on outside the hotel. Great experience that we can make a simple cooking in mini kitchen when we missed breakfast buffet. Different food festival events for every month are attractive in restaurant inside hotel.

Excellent! One Executive proudly wears the Kempinski brand! Great attention to details, very friendly and hospitable staff delivering great service. Rooms are very clean, well maintained, nicely scaled with varied and relaxing lighting options, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. In the fast paced life of Shanghai and business traveling, it is a great hotel to start and end the day. East facing rooms have great city views. Truly world class. If you are looking for a "grand" hotel, One Executive is not for you, however, if you are into high end boutique hotel with a flavor of home away from home comfort, quality and care, look no further, One Executive is it.

Our stay was fantastic. We loved Shanghai and the staff - particularly in the restaurant were so friendly, and so attentive to us and our 10 month old baby. The hotel is very well equipped for people travelling with young children. Our suite had full cooking / washing facilities and plenty of space to have a cot in either the lounge or bedroom. We would recommend you have more chinese food on the menu as we had to go out of the hotel to sample local cuisine which isn't easy with a 10 month old baby at night, otherwise everything was just perfect, and the Western food we ordered was very nice.

Big and comfortable room / Bathroom”
Staff welcomed us 5 hours before the check-in time and we got upgraded to a better suite. They were friendly, professional and with very good english skills. The room is very comfortable, spacious. One living room with kitchen, one bedroom as comfortable as you wish to have and one bathroom with both rain shower and bathtub. We also had choice between smoking or non smoking room. The hotel is located not far from main attractions and shopping areas but would still need to take a taxi to go the the best spots of Shanghai, which is cheap and worth to stay in this hotel. I would recommend it to any friends and my next trips. XieXie :)

Elegant room, reasonable food and beverage”
the one suites is in a great part of shanghai, only 5 minutes from the people's square. the room was magnificent although i seemed to be waiting a while for the elevator - only 4 of them for the entire place. the internet was good and the bathroom had real space and style. breakfast was just okay but there was time and space and it was nice to be able to enjoy a quiet breakfast without diners all around.

I stayed in places like The Ritz, The Mandarin Oriental, The Pu Li or the Park Hyatt in Shanghai before, so I do know, how "superduper" looks like. Here comes the fun part: in terms of rooms, this place can nearly catch up with the top hotels, as long as you are ready to skip the following requirements: giant pool/gym giant lobby killer view to the tv tower if its about a very nice, suite-like room, even equipped with a small kitchen, yet in a 5-star look, for a very "ok" price ...this is the place you are looking for.

Fantastic Hotel with Large Rooms”
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel/executive apartment as the suite was magnificent. There is a fully equiped kitchen just in case you would like to cook. This hotel would be great for longer stays as it really does feel like home. The service was good and the staff were friendly. The location is good for people new to Shanghai as it is right off Nanjing Lu in Jingan. Overall, I had a really good stay.

A great place to stay in an over priced city!”
The One Suites represent really excellent value in a city which is usually over priced. A 5-6 minute walk to the Subway (which has 3 different lines) means that you can get anywhere easily, including both airports and the main long distance train station. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The staff are all excellent with a very good level of English compared to most hotels and they are all very welcoming and helpful. The location itself is wonderful, being just (and I mean just) off Nanjing West Road means that it is slightly quieter than those on NWR itself. The area abounds with restaurants of every size, shape, budget and taste and if you want shopping there is plenty of it.

An excellent place to sleep”
I have stayed at this place many times when I visited Shanghai. nevertheless it is one of my favourite place. Location wise it is in the heart of Shanghai. Though it can be difficult to find but with GPS it is not an issue. The room is huge compared to other hotel room. The bed is very comfortable. The internet is fast. One of my favourite hotel in Shanghai.

I feel like I own an apartment in Shanghai”
The hotel is a service apartment. I like the design. There is the living room, bedroom and bathroom. The bed is comfortable. The room is large and spacious. I just feel so at home here. There is a restaurant below but they don't really have much choice. Luckily the location is very strategic and very close to the heart of Shanghai. I really recommend this hotel. I know I will come back and stay here the next time I come to Shanghai

Spent two days here and am delighted with my stay. The rooms at this hotel, managed by Kempinski, is nothing short of its reputation. You can practically stay in these rooms as there are stoves, washing machine, etc. Definitely great for business.

We stayed 3 nights at the One Executive Suites and was really surprised at the service and quality of the hotel. The manager was very pleasant and told us all the great places to shop. We will defiantly come back and stay the next time we are Shanghai. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our room here. We liked the layout, the spaciousness, the view and all the amenities. I can't praise the room enough. We did ask a staff member to get a taxi for us and although it's not entirely the staff's fault, we ended up with a driver that took us in the wrong direction initially. My mandarin wasn't sufficient enough to challenge the price we ended up paying. I do blame staff partially since this is a known problem of taxi drivers in Shanghai to shanghai tourists. THE ONE Executive Suites should use more responsible taxi services.

Maybe I expected too much when I saw it was managed by Kempinski. It was quite disappointed when I enter the "suite". Cleanliness was only average, the maintenance need a lot of improvement. Shower door need to slam shut in order to close properly. The amenities provided was relatively cheap! I guess I'll not stay again with the price I paid in Shanghai.

It was as good as any hotel I have ever stayed in. For the price we got the rooms for we were overwhelmed by the room size, bed comfort & pretty much everything we encounters during our stay. The staff were absolutely superb and are agreat credit to themselves. We travel to Shanghai regularly & will always now try to stay there.

We have stayed in this hotel for so many times and we always come back for this hotel. The staffs are very friendly, the room is very spacious, has small kitchen and dining tables. Also sofas. The location is not far away from Nanjing road, very easy to find restaurant and starbuck just around the corner. Really loves this hotel. For sure will be back for this hotel if we travel to shanghai.
