Lovely hotel, highly reccommended”

This hotel is in China Town and is a real oasis in this generally run down place. It is very good, clean. The beds are comfortable, the AC works well, bathroom is good. There are big communal areas where you can have a drink, watch telly, play on the pool table,play cards, etc. You can do your washing in the machines there. Free tea and coffee. We used this area when we arrived, as it was a bit early and our room was not ready. the staff are very helpful. We forgot a wallet in the room when we left and we had an email that it is found and kept safe for collection. The lobby was great, with a nice restaurant. If you go there, ask the staff the name of the roundabout nearby. We found this best to explain to taxis when we had to get one back to the hotel. Well, we didn't like the area itself, and the view from our window wasn't great, but the location was reasonably quiet yet very easy to get a taxi, close to all the sightseeing in the old town, and walking distance to the metro station.

From the door opening on arrival to the assistance with our bags when we were leaving, the W22 was faultless in service and facilities. A half day can be spent just looking over the decor and checking out the magnificent motor bikes on display. The staff had good English skills and were across all aspects of their job. A minor issue with our room on arrival was handled smoothly and without issue. A special mention must be made of the beds. Absolutely the most comfortable we have slept in in Thailand. We booked because of its relative location to the train station where we had arrived from the North. We would have stayed longer but had business in another part of the city far from Chinatown. Recommended unreservedly.

W22 Hotel is a four months old New Hotel. The location is very centralise and walking distance to China Town famous Yaowarat Street, there are varieties of street foods & Restaurants, it is a food heaven.

Classy and comfortable for a great price”

Walk off the bustling streets in Chinatown into this tasteful, spacious and classy lobby area. The accompanying restaurant is funky with decent food. The room was simple in decor but clean and comfortable. The common areas were spacious and very welcoming. I liked the random Harley Davidson exhibit in the courtyard and also all the old photos of Bangkok everywhere. Definitely a good deal if you want to be in the Chinatown area or near the main railroad station of Hua Lamphong. We walked there.

Overall are great”

12mins Walking distance to China Town with plentiful of food. 10mins walk to the nearest BTS Wat Mangkon station. Very clean room and we have an enjoyable stay. Would recommend to all and I will come back in the future. P/s: Day trips which provided from the hotel tour arrangement on ground floor is reliable (okay)!

Great, except bathroom design is stupid/inefficient ”

Loved the style, price, and location. We only required a clean, modern room for a good price and that's what we got. I very much enjoyed how the hotel had a common area on Fl. 2, clean Western restrooms in the lobby, and that it has vintage photographs of Chinatown all over the hotel. The hotel design is very beautiful too, made for very good photos for social media posts. HOWEVER, like other reviewers have mentioned, the drain pipes are old or backed up because it SMELLS. Rotten water. Sewage. Essential the smell of Bangkok streets in the shower. Not only that, but the person who designed the shower was dumb. The shower head was bigger and longer than the shower stall!! It was also placed in the middle of the rectangular shower stall. Because of this, there was no room to shower and the shower curtain kept sticking to me. Plus, this made it so the water would come out of the shower and the toilet and floor would get all WET. Very annoying :|

Great clean hotel with great and attentive staff. ”

Everything about this hotel was on point with clean and lovely decor. Well laid out rooms with everything you need. Only improvements could be better TV channels with more sports and live football from premier league. A swimming pool would be nice too but don't really expect it in China town.

Nice place”

The location is in the middle of china town, easy to get around. 10 mins walk to Hua lamphong railway station, 10 mins walk to MRT station. Nice room, clean and good staff. One small thing, there is no soap, shamboo...in the room, anyway, we bring our own so it is ok. I will come back for next time

Suit for business traveler”

The hotel was nice, interior very playful and make us comfortable to sitting around lobby areas for sometime. The staff very Kind and helpful, they allowed us to check in before 2pm bcoz the room is just ready. Not make us waiting for long. Then very near to china town and you can explore all food over there. But unfortunately MRT quite far, its about 10 mins walks. But all is good.

Worth the money paid”

Pros: 1. Location is near Bangkok centre, 5 minutes on foot to China Town. 2. Staff is nice, helpful. Response quickly. 3. Free tea at the second and forth floor. 4. Self-laundry with a fee of 60 baths(washing) + 60 baths(dry). Cons: 1. Bedding set was not changed daily 2. Not any kettles in rooms 3. Some guys smoke at balcony, however it smells inside

The location is excellent..”

The location is excellent. The hotel is a minute away from MRT and China Town, surrounded by local restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Our room was nice and clean; the only problem we had was the smell of the toilet, but it could be the smell from an old drainage system. Other than that, we enjoy staying there a lot.

Convenient hotel for travellers!”

Located on the edge of Chinatown with its vast streetfood options and close to a small area with beer and cocktail bars the hotel is very convenient for travellers arriving or departing from Bangkok's main train station Hua Lamphong. It features a common room with a washing maschine and dryer (both 60 baht) as well as bathrooms with a shower you can use even after checkout. Very clean room, good AC and international TV channels Staff was very friendly, even at fixing some technical problems late in the evening. The only turn-offs we encountered where a smelly sink in the bathroom and that the street around the hotel was also a pick-up place for escort ladies. However, we always felt safe and comfortable returning to the hotel. No breakfast, but free tea and coffee in the common room on level 2 (some rooms also had a warelt boiler in the room), but great coffee around the corner at Happy Espresso.

Great Bargain”

everything is great here, it's like a boutique hotel in the middle of Chinatown. Facilities, room & cleanliness is superb, more than we expected for such a price. however I do have 1 unhappiness bout the shower, the temperature is a bit hard to control, either too hot or turned cold. The rest is awesome, great display of antiques, friendly staff, water top up available, bar, restaurant & tourist info just within in the hotel.

Great stay at new hotel”

This is a brandnew hotel at a great location. Walking distance to hualampong train station and the metro, which brings you overall in town. Bus stops only 200m away from the hotel. Everything is very clean and the (typical thai) staff very nice and helpful. Great water pressure, pool table free available. You can buy for few money (some even less than the supermarket 7-eleven) water and soft drinks, so if the rain comes you do not have to go outside. Great value for the money!!

You will never come across your mind that there is a such unique and classic hotel in this street at Chinatown. Why i say so? LOL. You will find out one day. The decoration is superb awesome, you really feel like you are staying in Chinatown. Clean and tidy. Staffs are so polite, young men with simple and proper English. I would like to give x100 likes of one thing. I reached there around 10 am and the check in time is 2pm. But the front office assistant informed me that "Ooooo no problem miss, we have available room now, you are welcome to check in now". Pretty cool right? And there have unlimited flow of coffee and tea and Level 2 with pool table and gym. The location is strategic, Yauwarat is 5 minutes walking distance. There is so so much foods along the street just few steps away from the hotel. Another thing I wanna give 5 stars. Their TV channels are good, got English HBO and Chinese channels. Arabic channel also available.
